The purpose of God's revelations....

God reveals Himself to people in order to make religious truths available to them by availing Himself of a person through Whom He speaks to all people. He makes Himself known to them, that is, He so discernibly expresses Himself that a person, if he is willing, can attain profound belief in a Being Which is supremely perfect, full of love, omnipotence and wisdom and Which, as creative power, is in closest connection with Its living creations. His revelations make this perfectly clear, but it is up to the human being to believe it or not; and for this reason His revelations convey what he should believe, nevertheless it will never be proven to him such that he must believe it. It is entirely up to his will whether the knowledge conveyed to him becomes his inner conviction, whether he thereby becomes a believer. And therefore God's revelations are presented such that they will never signify religious compulsion. They can certainly be recognised as divine revelations if the human being sincerely desires truth, that is, God; but they can also be made out to be human work, to be human thinking, and a person is entirely at liberty to make up his own mind. But since faith in God is imperative in order to ascend, God will time and again reveal Himself in order to give people the knowledge about Himself, about His reign and activity. And He appeals to the human being's intellect to process this imparted knowledge mentally and thereby arrive at the right belief. For as soon as the person discovers correlations which harmonise with God's nature, that is, which show God's love, wisdom and omnipotence, he will accept what is offered to him as plausible. And then he will try to establish his own connection with this supremely perfect Being.

And this is the purpose of God's revelations, so that people who are looking for Him will take the right path and thereby find Him. They should be able to believe as a matter of conviction and this entails that they have mentally processed the knowledge conveyed to them and subsequently acknowledge it as truth. For what God expects people to believe has to be made accessible to them in some form or other. But God Himself can never manifestly speak to them, because it would not be spiritual freedom but coercion, which would not enable people to gain a higher degree of maturity. Although it certainly would be convincing proof, it would nevertheless be worthless, for then the person would be forced into a God-pleasing way of life, but this has to be the result of profound love for God. For only love can lead to higher spheres, but love has to arise from the heart in absolute freedom of will, if it is to be divine and lead to God. Love is also the key to wisdom, that is, only a loving person recognises the truth, and this is why only a loving person will be able to attain true faith. But God preaches love through His Word, and everything He proclaims to people through His Word will therefore also be trustingly accepted if love is not excluded. Thus, God reveals Himself in order to educate people to love, in order to make them believe that He can come close to them with His gift of grace which intends to help them towards spiritual progress....

Propósito das Revelações de Deus....

A fim de tornar as verdades da fé acessíveis às pessoas, Deus se revela a elas usando um ser humano através do qual Ele fala a todas as pessoas. Ele se faz conhecer a eles, ou seja, Ele se expressa reconhecidamente para que o ser humano, se estiver disposto, possa alcançar uma fé profunda em um Ser que é extremamente perfeito, que é cheio de amor, onipotência e sabedoria e que está em conexão mais próxima como um Poder criador com Suas criações vivas. Isto emerge de Suas revelações sem falha, mas o ser humano é livre para acreditar nelas ou não; e, portanto, o que ele deve acreditar lhe é transmitido através de Suas revelações; contudo, nunca é provado a ele de tal forma que ele tenha que acreditar. Depende apenas da sua vontade se o conhecimento que lhe é transmitido se torna a sua convicção interior, se ele assim se torna um crente. E é por isso que as revelações de Deus são mantidas de tal forma que nunca significam uma compulsão a acreditar. Podem certamente ser reconhecidas como revelações divinas se o ser humano anseia seriamente pela verdade, portanto por Deus; mas também podem ser apresentadas como obra humana, como pensamento humano, e o ser humano fica completamente livre para decidir por si mesmo como se relacionará com elas. Mas como a fé em Deus é absolutamente necessária para ascender, Deus também se revelará uma e outra vez a fim de informar as pessoas de Si mesmo, do Seu reino e atividade. E Ele apela ao intelecto do ser humano para que processe mentalmente o conhecimento que lhe foi transmitido e assim alcance a fé certa. Pois assim que o ser humano descobre conexões que podem ser colocadas em harmonia com a natureza de Deus, ou seja, que lhe permitem reconhecer o amor, a sabedoria e a onipotência de Deus, ele aceita o que lhe é oferecido como credível. E agora ele próprio também procura estabelecer a ligação com este Ser mais perfeito. E este é o propósito das revelações de Deus, que as pessoas que O buscam tomem o caminho certo e assim também O encontrem. Eles devem ser capazes de acreditar por convicção, e isto inclui o conhecimento que lhes foi transmitido e que eles processaram mentalmente e agora também reconhecem como verdade. Pois o que Deus exige que as pessoas acreditem deve ser levado até elas de alguma forma. No entanto, o próprio Deus nunca pode obviamente falar com eles, porque isso não seria uma liberdade espiritual, mas uma compulsão que não poderia ganhar um grau mais elevado de maturidade. Embora isso fosse uma evidência convincente, não valeria a pena, porque assim o ser humano seria obrigado a viver um modo de vida agradável a Deus, mas tal modo de vida tem de ser o resultado de um profundo amor a Deus. Porque só o amor pode levar para cima, mas o amor deve nascer no coração, na mais plena liberdade de vontade, se é divino e deve levar a Deus. O amor é também a chave da sabedoria, ou seja, somente a pessoa que ama reconhece a verdade e, portanto, somente a pessoa que ama chegará à fé correta. Deus, porém, prega o amor através da Sua Palavra, e tudo que Ele revela às pessoas através da Sua Palavra, portanto, também será recebido fielmente se o amor não for excluído. Deus, portanto, revela-se para educar as pessoas ao amor, para fazê-las crentes, para que Ele possa aproximar-se delas com o Seu dom de graça que as ajudará a ascender espiritualmente...._>Amém
