"Seek ye first the kingdom of God...."

Seek first the kingdom of God and you will be able to cover earthly life without worrying about what the body needs, for all this will fall to you, as the lord has promised. For only one thing is important, that you receive the life of the soul, then God Himself will take over the care of your body and its needs. But as soon as you lose faith in this promise you will have to take care of yourselves, and thereby you will get caught in the adversary's nets, who will try to make you believe that this care is the most important and wants to prevent you from thinking of your soul. And now you run the risk of becoming materialistic, of focusing your thoughts and actions entirely on the acquisition of matter, of neglecting the kingdom of God in your constant concern for your body and finally only living a purely earthly life without taking your soul's salvation into account. God has only set one aim for your earthly life.... that your soul will develop upwards.... and in order to achieve this aim you must detach yourselves from matter, you may desire nothing but that which is helpful to the soul. And you can free yourselves from all worries with complete faith if you remember Christ's promise, for His word is truth, and if you first seek God's kingdom then you will fulfil His will and God will also take care of you. But people's striving is mostly directed towards the preservation and well-being of the body, and this in excess, so that spiritual striving takes a back seat and understandably no spiritual progress can be achieved. And it is this lack of trust in the love of God, Who sustains everything He has created. With faith and trust in God's help the human being can become free of all earthly worries, he can easily and light-heartedly go through earthly life, but as soon as he spends every effort on his soul's salvation, as soon as he fully consciously strives towards the spiritual kingdom, as soon as he tries to fulfil God's will in everything and thus strives to reach the kingdom of God. But the belief in this is almost no longer to be found amongst people, and therefore they create a life full of worries and troubles for themselves, they burden themselves with a burden which the lord God has promised them to carry if they fulfil their task in life.... to put their spiritual welfare before the welfare of the body. God sustains the whole of creation, He continuously takes care of its existence and everything develops according to His will. And likewise His care applies to the most highly developed creature, the human being, and his earthly life is just as assured as that of the whole of creation. Yet God has made it dependent on the human being's will, He has set him a condition the fulfilment of which will result in a carefree existence. But if people do not observe this condition they will have a difficult earthly life because they will lose God's care for the body. Earthly life is given to the human being for the sake of the soul, and thus the soul should be considered first, it should be supplied with what it needs for spiritual maturity.... and this can only be fetched and received from the spiritual kingdom. Therefore the human being's senses must always be directed towards the spiritual kingdom, for the earthly kingdom does not offer the soul the nourishment it lacks. The earthly kingdom only fulfils the body's needs, and the human being should faithfully and trustingly allow God to give it to him, as He has promised, and strive all the more for the spiritual kingdom, which is not given to him but which gives what the soul desires according to its desire. And therefore cast all worries upon the lord.... He will take them from you the more intimately you strive for union with Him, the more your soul detaches itself from earthly things and only adheres to that which brings it union with God. And you will truly be safe in His care, you will want for nothing, for He is full of love and might, He can provide for you and will provide for you if only you strive for Him, for His kingdom....

"Buscai primeiro o Reino de Deus...."

Procurai primeiro o reino de Deus e podereis cobrir a vida terrena sem vos preocupardes com o que o corpo necessita, pois tudo isto vos cairá em cima, como o Senhor prometeu. Porque só uma coisa é importante, que você receba a vida da alma, então o próprio Deus tomará conta do seu corpo e das suas necessidades. Mas assim que perderem a fé nesta promessa, terão de cuidar de vocês mesmos, e assim serão apanhados nas redes do adversário, que tentará fazer-vos acreditar que este cuidado é o mais importante e quer impedir-vos de pensar na vossa alma. E agora correis o risco de tornar-vos materialistas, de concentrar os vossos pensamentos e ações inteiramente na aquisição da matéria, de negligenciar o Reino de Deus na vossa constante preocupação com o vosso corpo e, finalmente, de viver apenas uma vida puramente terrena, sem levar em conta a salvação da vossa alma. Deus só estabeleceu uma meta para a sua vida terrena.... que a sua alma se desenvolverá para cima.... E para alcançar este objetivo, vocês devem se desligar da matéria, vocês podem não desejar nada além daquilo que é útil para a alma. E vocês podem se libertar de todas as preocupações com fé completa se vocês se lembrarem da promessa de Cristo, pois Sua Palavra é a verdade, e se vocês primeiro buscarem o reino de Deus, então vocês cumprirão a Sua vontade e Deus também cuidará de vocês. Mas o esforço das pessoas é dirigido principalmente para a preservação e bem-estar do corpo, e isso em excesso, de modo que o esforço espiritual fica em segundo plano e, compreensivelmente, nenhum progresso espiritual pode ser alcançado. E é esta falta de confiança no amor de Deus, que sustenta tudo o que Ele criou. Com fé e confiança na ajuda de Deus, o ser humano pode tornar-se livre de todas as preocupações terrenas, pode passar com facilidade e leveza pela vida terrena, mas assim que gasta todos os esforços na salvação da sua alma, assim que se esforça conscientemente para o reino espiritual, assim que tenta cumprir a vontade de Deus em tudo e assim se esforça para alcançar o reino de Deus. Mas a crença nisto quase já não se encontra entre as pessoas, e por isso elas criam uma vida cheia de preocupações e problemas para si próprias, sobrecarregam-se com um fardo que o Senhor Deus lhes prometeu carregar se cumprirem a sua tarefa na vida.... para colocar o seu bem-estar espiritual à frente do bem-estar do corpo. Deus sustenta toda a criação, Ele cuida continuamente da sua existência e tudo se desenvolve de acordo com a Sua vontade. E da mesma forma o Seu cuidado se aplica à criatura mais desenvolvida, o ser humano, e sua vida terrena é tão assegurada quanto a de toda a criação. No entanto, Deus tornou-a dependente da vontade do ser humano, Ele colocou-lhe uma condição cujo cumprimento resultará numa existência despreocupada. Mas se as pessoas não observarem esta condição, terão uma vida terrena difícil, porque perderão o cuidado de Deus pelo corpo. A vida terrena é dada ao ser humano pelo bem da alma, e assim a alma deve ser considerada em primeiro lugar, deve ser suprida com o que precisa para a maturidade espiritual.... e isto só pode ser buscado e recebido do reino espiritual. Portanto, os sentidos do ser humano devem estar sempre voltados para o reino espiritual, pois o reino terreno não oferece à alma o alimento que lhe falta. O reino terreno só satisfaz as necessidades do corpo, e o ser humano deveria permitir fielmente e com confiança que Deus lho desse, como prometeu, e lutar ainda mais pelo reino espiritual, que não lhe é dado, mas que dá o que a alma deseja de acordo com o seu desejo. E, portanto, lançam todas as preocupações sobre o Senhor.... Ele as tirará de ti quanto mais intimamente te esforçares pela união com Ele, mais a tua alma se separa das coisas terrenas e só adere àquilo que lhe traz a união com Deus. E você estará verdadeiramente seguro aos Seus cuidados, você vai querer por nada, pois Ele está cheio de amor e poder, Ele pode prover para você e proverá para você se apenas você lutar por Ele, pelo Seu reino...._>Amém
