Test of the heart necessary to recognize the gifts.... free will....

Every spiritual gift triggers happiness as soon as it is recognized as such. And this judgement must be made by the heart, in association with the intellect, but not by the intellect alone. Consequently, the will to reject must not resist the heart and grant the intellect alone the right to judge. Then the effect of strength will never be felt, for it does not tolerate resistance, i.e. the strength becomes ineffective where it is opposed. God's love does not compel, and compulsion would be any proof. But it would be proof if the divine gift would always and in all cases trigger a feeling of happiness, even if the human being is not willing to acknowledge it. This feeling would then force him to accept the gifts from above, and thus no human being would then stand outside of their working, which would mean that a change in people's thinking would result in their higher development in a short time, yet always compulsorily, thus without their own will. Such higher development would not correspond to God's wisdom, and therefore the human being will not feel any effect in himself who only lets his intellect become active where his heart should carry out an examination. But he will lose a great grace, a grace which could promote him very quickly if he let it take effect in himself. Therefore it is very difficult to persuade people to accept the divine word as long as they do not have the will to believe that God is the giver of it, thus as long as they doubt such activity on God's part. The mere assumption that God could express Himself in an extraordinary way would weaken the will to reject, and he would examine it impartially and thus let his heart speak, which truly advises him correctly. For the strength from God would touch the heart so beneficently that it would recognize the divine origin by it and accept it unconditionally. The human being is completely free to decide how he will respond to the gift offered to him from the spiritual kingdom. All compulsion of will is eliminated, and therefore the gift of eloquence will also be reduced to an unwilling person so that the human being will not be influenced against his will, for God in His love certainly offers Himself but does not impose Himself. The conveyance of His word to earth is in any case an act of grace which humanity does not deserve, since only rarely does a person have the will to establish such an intimate connection with God that the strength from God can flow over to him and that.... the word of God.... can only be offered where it is desired. Yet God is satisfied with the will of one person who desires the truth in order to pass it on to those who are in need of it. And thus humanity is given a delicious gift and does not recognize it.... It does not make use of a gift which comes to it undeservedly, it does not take hold of the father's hand Who seeks to snatch it from darkness.... it hesitates where it should accept immediately in order to make use of every day, in order to mature in realization, in order to make the word of God its guiding principle for its earthly life. The gifts of grace will increase in the last days but the human being's freedom of will will always be respected, thus no gift will ever appear such that the human being will be determined to acknowledge it as divine. Anyone who opens himself to the gift of grace, who in profound faith in God does not deny its significance for spiritual development, will feel profound happiness, yet anyone who does not believe such an effect of God's love to be possible because he is unbelieving or only calls a dead faith his own will remain empty and unimpressed. And therefore only individuals will feel the effect of the gift of grace and mature in their soul because they are of good will....

Examen del corazón necesario para reconocer los dones.... Libre albedrío....

Todo don espiritual provoca felicidad tan pronto como se reconoce como tal. Y este juicio debe ser hecho por el corazón, en conjunto con el entendimiento, pero no solo por el entendimiento. En consecuencia, la voluntad de rechazar no debe oponerse al corazón y dar sólo al entendimiento el derecho de juzgar. Entonces nunca se sentirá un efecto de fuerza porque este no tolera ninguna resistencia, es decir, la fuerza se vuelve ineficaz cundo se le opone. El amor de Dios no fuerza, y la coerción sería cualquier prueba.

Pero es una prueba de que el don divino siempre y en todos los casos suscita un sentimiento de felicidad, incluso si el ser humano no está dispuesto a reconocerlo. Este sentimiento le obligará entonces a aceptar los dones de lo alto, y por tanto ningún humano quedaría entonces fuera de la influencia de éstos, lo que significaría tanto como que, un cambio en el modo de pensar de los humanos tendría como consecuencia un mayor desarrollo en poco tiempo, pero siempre obligatoriamente, es decir, sin su propia voluntad. Un desarrollo superior como tal no correspondería a la sabiduría de Dios, y es por eso que el humano que deja que su entendimiento se active sólo, donde su corazón debe realizar una prueba, no sentirá ningún efecto en sí mismo. Pero pierde una gran gracia, una gracia que podría ayudarle muy rápidamente si permitiera que surtiera efecto.

Por lo tanto, es muy difícil mover a los humanos para aceptar la Palabra divina mientras no tengan la voluntad de considerar a Dios como el Dador posible de ella y mientras duden de la obra de Dios. Incluso la suposición de que Dios pudiera expresarse de una manera extraordinaria ya debilitaría la voluntad de rechazar, y el humano examinaría imparcialmente y así dejaría hablar a su corazón, lo que verdaderamente le aconsejaría correctamente. Porque la fuerza de Dios tocaría el corazón de manera tan beneficiosa que en esto reconocería el origen divino y lo aceptaría incondicionalmente.

El ser humano es completamente libre de decidir cómo responde al don que se le ofrece del ámbito espiritual. Se elimina toda compulsión de la voluntad y, por tanto, se reduce el don de elocuencia cuando se trata de un ser humano que no quiere, para que el humano no sea influenciado en contra de su voluntad, porque dios en Su amor se ofrece, pero no Se impone. En cualquier caso, transmitir Su Palabra a la Tierra es un acto de gracia que la humanidad no merece, ya que sólo rara vez un ser humano tiene la voluntad de establecer una conexión con Dios tan íntima como para la fuerza de Dios pueda fluir hacia él y ésta.... la Palabra de Dios.... sólo puede ofrecerse donde se desea.

Pero Dios Se contenta con la voluntad de un ser humano que desea la verdad para transmitirla a quienes almas están en necesidad. Y así la humanidad recibe un don precioso y no lo reconoce.... No se sirve de un don que le llega inmerecidamente, no toma la mano del Padre Que intenta arrebatársela de las tinieblas.... ella duda, donde inmediatamente debería aceptarla para poder aprovechar cada día para madurar en la cognición y hacer de la Palabra de Dios la guía de su vida en la Tierra.

Los dones de la gracia aumentarán en los últimos tiempos, pero el libre albedrío del ser humano siempre se preservará, por lo que ningún don aparecerá jamás de tal manera que el hombre se dedica a reconocerlo como divino. Aquel que se abre al don de la gracia y que, en su profunda fe en Dios, no niega la importancia que tiene para el desarrollo espiritual, experimentará una profunda felicidad, pero quedará vacío e insignificante si no cree posible tal obra del amor de Dios, porque es incrédulo o sólo llama su propiedad una fe muerta. Y es por eso que sólo los individuos sentirán el efecto del don de la gracia y madurarán en sus almas porque son de buena voluntad....
