Purpose of the divine commandments.... eternal bliss....

Fulfilling the divine commandments is the first condition for a way of life that is pleasing to God. The divine commandments, however, only require the human being's love, thus the human being's way of life should be a continuous labour of love.... the ultimate purpose of earthly life is to become like God, Who is love in Himself; and since the human being is without knowledge when he starts his earthly life, the divine commandments, which demand continued loving activity, are given to him as a guideline for his life on earth, and it is up to his free will to organize his life accordingly. However, no human being can become blessed without love, so the ultimate purpose of the divine commandments is to be able to enter into eternal bliss.... God has given His commandments in order to be able to give people the great happiness that lasts forever, because without love no human being can become blessed. He should become what entering the kingdom of light requires of his own accord, yet he is powerless and his ignorance would not be an incentive to shape his soul for the spiritual kingdom himself. And this is why God gives the human being His commandments so that he will be nourished with strength by fulfilling them and his ignorant state will change into a knowing one. For as soon as he has become knowledgeable he moulds himself, i.e. out of inner impulse, into Godlikeness, he tries to assimilate himself to the eternal deity, which again can only happen through deeds of love. Then he no longer needs the divine commandments, because as soon as his heart is capable of love, it urges him to practice love, because the power from God continues to flow over to him and this power drives him to activity in love. Thus the divine commandments are only a means that the ignorant human being is urged to receive strength, that he therefore first testifies to his will and God can consider him according to this will. The divine commandments are the indication of the right path, for he only takes this path through loving activity, initially still unaware of the spiritual success which, however, results in ever brighter realization, which is proof of the strength flowing to the human being from God.... God wants to educate people to love and He gives them His commandments, which only demand love.... As long as man is still far from God, he perceives these commandments as a burden because he himself does not know love. But if he is urged to observe these commandments then he will also feel that he is coming closer to God, so that he will fulfil God's commandments more and more voluntarily because he will be strengthened by the strength from God and his spirit will be enlightened. And that is why he is to be educated to labour of love, so that the latter is then exercized in all freedom of will and earns the human being the state of knowledge, of realization, which enables him to enter the spiritual kingdom. Loving activity is the only path to God, and this path is shown to people through the divine commandments, but their fulfilment is never compulsorily demanded. If the human being wants to ignore them then he will remain in a dark spiritual state; he is by no means forced to practice love, only repeatedly reminded through suffering and battles during his earthly life to be lovingly active because God does not want to leave him to his ruin. This is why the divine commandments are repeatedly held up to him, his thinking is repeatedly influenced and he is repeatedly placed in situations where he can carry out works of love so that he can test for himself what effect the activity of love has.... for his spiritual state depends on the fulfilment of the commandments and on this depends his entry into eternal bliss.

Propósito dos mandamentos divinos.... Eterna bem-aventurança....

O cumprimento dos mandamentos divinos é a primeira condição para uma vida agradável a Deus. Os mandamentos divinos, no entanto, só requerem o amor do ser humano, portanto o modo de vida do ser humano deve ser uma atividade contínua de amor.... A finalidade última da vida terrena é tornar-se como Deus, que é amor em si mesmo; e como o ser humano está sem conhecimento quando começa a sua vida terrena, os mandamentos divinos, que exigem uma atividade contínua de amor, são-lhe dados como orientação para a sua vida terrena, e é deixado ao seu livre arbítrio organizar a sua vida em conformidade. No entanto, nenhum ser humano pode tornar-se feliz sem amor, portanto o propósito último dos mandamentos divinos é poder entrar na felicidade eterna.... Deus deu Seus mandamentos para poder dar às pessoas a grande felicidade que dura para sempre, porque sem amor nenhum ser humano pode se tornar feliz. Por si mesmo ele deveria tornar-se como a entrada no reino da luz requer, mas ele é impotente e sua ignorância também não seria um impulso para moldar sua alma para o reino espiritual. E por isso Deus dá Seus mandamentos ao ser humano para que ele seja alimentado com força, cumprindo-os, e seu estado de ignorância se transformará em um estado de conhecimento. Pois assim que ele se torna conhecedor, isto é, fora do impulso interior, ele se molda a si mesmo à semelhança de Deus, ele procura assimilar a si mesmo à Deidade eterna, o que novamente só pode acontecer através da atividade amorosa. Então ele não precisa mais dos mandamentos divinos porque, assim que seu coração é capaz de amar, ele o impele a praticar o amor porque a força de Deus continua a fluir sobre ele e essa força o impulsiona a agir no amor. Assim, os mandamentos divinos são apenas um meio de encorajar o ser humano ignorante a receber forças, para que ele primeiro testemunhe a sua vontade e Deus lhe possa dar de acordo com essa vontade. Os mandamentos divinos são a indicação do caminho certo, pois só através da actividade amorosa é que ele seguirá este caminho, inicialmente ainda sem ter consciência do sucesso espiritual que, no entanto, resultará numa realização cada vez mais brilhante, que é a prova da força que flui para o ser humano a partir de Deus.... Deus quer educar as pessoas para o amor, e Ele lhes dá Seus mandamentos que só exigem amor.... Enquanto o ser humano ainda estiver distante de Deus, ele sente estes mandamentos como um fardo, porque não conhece o próprio amor. Mas se ele for incitado a observar esses mandamentos, também sentirá que está se aproximando de Deus, para cumprir os mandamentos de Deus cada vez mais voluntariamente, porque será fortalecido pela força de Deus e seu espírito será iluminado. E, portanto, ele deve ser educado para o trabalho de amor, para que este último seja então exercido em toda a liberdade de vontade e ganhe o ser humano o estado de conhecimento, de realização, que o torna capaz de entrar no reino espiritual. A atividade amorosa é o único caminho para Deus, e este caminho é mostrado às pessoas através dos mandamentos divinos, mas o seu cumprimento nunca é exigido compulsoriamente. Se o ser humano quiser ignorá-los, permanecerá num estado espiritual sombrio; não será de modo algum obrigado a praticar o amor, só será repetidamente admoestado através do sofrimento e das lutas durante a sua vida terrena para ser amorosamente ativo, porque Deus não quer abandoná-lo à sua ruína. Por isso, os mandamentos divinos lhe serão repetidamente impostos, o seu pensamento será sempre influenciado e, uma e outra vez, será colocado em situações em que possa realizar obras de amor, para que possa testar sobre si mesmo como funciona o efeito da atividade amorosa...., porque o seu estado espiritual depende do cumprimento dos mandamentos e disso a sua entrada na bem-aventurança eterna._>Amém
