Recognising the truth is a duty to advocate it....

In a world of scorners and blasphemers the truth will hardly be able to establish itself, for they negate everything of a divine nature and therefore also the truth which comes from God. But every person who knows the truth, who thus recognises it, is nevertheless duty bound to advocate it, even towards those who always want to fight against the truth. To deviate from the truth with them would be the same as complying with the adversary of truth. The truth will always be fought, for it comes from above.... however, materialistically minded people only want to acknowledge that which comes from below, from the world, and that will always contradict the truth. If the truth is to be spread on earth its advocate may by no means love the world, nor may he fear people who want to prevent him from spreading the truth, instead, by completely renouncing all earthly advantages, he must rather be willing to sacrifice his life than to withhold the truth or speak contrary to his conviction. This requirement is indeed not an easy one to comply with; after all, a person's physical life is still too valuable as to give it up for the sake of a truth which is not desired by fellow human beings and is more likely to be rejected. And yet it is expected by God as soon as He has deemed people worthy to receive the truth from Him. Recognising the pure truth is also a commitment to pass it on and to inform an uninformed person of God's activity. And if people treat this gift with hostility the human being must not become intimidated and speak fearfully or keep silent, instead, he should even fearlessly stand up for the truth where the ruling power demands silence. It is, after all, God Himself he advocates.... And the informed person should never deny God which, however, he would do were he to divert from the truth, that is, were he to say something against better knowledge which does not correspond to truth or unquestioningly allows untruth to be spread when he recognises it as such. As soon as the human being denies God he becomes weak, on the other hand, if he endorses the truth, the flow of strength to stand firm against every hostile argument will come to him. And he will remain victorious over the scorners and blasphemers who only favour lies and will therefore always fight the truth....

O reconhecimento da verdade obriga-nos a defendê-la....

Num mundo de zombadores e blasfemos, a verdade dificilmente será capaz de romper, pois eles negam tudo o que é divino e, portanto, também a verdade que vem de Deus. No entanto, é dever de todo aquele que está na verdade, que a reconhece, defendê-la, mesmo para com aqueles que querem sempre combater a verdade. Pois desviar-se da verdade para eles seria o mesmo que estar à vontade do adversário da verdade. A verdade será sempre combatida, pois vem de cima...., mas as pessoas de espírito material só querem reconhecer o que vem de baixo, isto é, do mundo, e isso sempre contradiz a verdade. Se a verdade deve ser difundida na Terra, então seu representante não deve de modo algum amar o mundo, e não deve temer as pessoas que querem impedi-lo de difundir a verdade, ao contrário, deve estar disposto a dar a sua vida, renunciando completamente às vantagens terrenas, em vez de esconder a verdade ou falar contra a sua convicção. Esta é certamente uma exigência que não pode ser satisfeita tão facilmente, uma vez que a vida física do ser humano ainda é demasiado valiosa para que ele a queira sacrificar em nome da verdade, que não é desejada pelos seus semelhantes, mas sim rejeitada. E ainda assim, Deus faz esta exigência assim que Ele tem honrado as pessoas para receber a verdade dEle. O reconhecimento da verdade pura também o obriga a transmiti-la e a dar o conhecimento ignorante da obra de Deus. E se este dom é oposto pelas pessoas, o ser humano não deve tornar-se tímido e temeroso de falar ou permanecer em silêncio, mas também destemidamente defender a verdade, onde o poder governante exige silêncio. Pois o que o homem representa é o próprio Deus.... E o ser humano conhecedor nunca deve negar a Deus, o que faria, porém, se se desviasse da verdade, isto é, se dissesse algo contra o seu melhor conhecimento que não corresponda à verdade, ou se tolerasse a propagação da inverdade sem protestar, se a reconhecesse como tal. Assim que uma pessoa negar a Deus ela se tornará impotente, mas se ela representar a verdade ela também receberá forças para resistir a toda contra-fala hostil. E ele permanecerá vitorioso sobre os zombadores e blasfemos que só gostam de mentiras e, portanto, sempre lutarão contra a verdade...._>Amém
