Spiritual freedom.... Uninfluenced decision-making....

In order to come to the right realization, man must not be denied the freedom of thought. But this is taken away from him if he is given a certain guideline, i.e. he is influenced insofar as that certain views and opinions are held up to him until the person's thinking moves in the same direction. This is a certain compulsion, an elimination of free thinking, which does not remain without effect in people who are unable to resist. Such people can never come to knowledge because they are rendered incapable of thinking for themselves and are therefore also without judgement. The human being should have the opportunity to decide in every direction and he must therefore also be able to move in every spiritual direction until he reaches his own decision. Therefore, he must neither be told nor denied what should be brought close to his train of thought, what he wants to accept or reject. For only then will it be possible for him to come to realization through reflection. He must be allowed to follow every school of thought, otherwise he could neither be called to account nor gain any spiritual advantage if he thinks wrongly or rightly. And that is why it is the greatest injustice to want to exert a determining influence on people in spiritual matters.... It is wrong before God and people to forcibly direct people's thinking towards completely wrong views and teachings.... It is wrong to want to base the education of young people on completely wrong ideas and a completely wrong school of thought. Young people must be given the opportunity to decide freely which ideas they want to accept.... They must be granted freedom of thought and be given the knowledge of different schools of thought so that they can make their own decisions without the determining influence of their fellow human beings. Where freedom of thought is infringed upon, the human being is labelled an unfree being; what has been given to him by God is taken from him by people.... Spiritual influence can only be approved of if unselfish love can be recognized in it, which wants to protect people from harm to their souls. However, where a certain spiritual blindness is brought up out of selfishness, where a person is kept ignorant for selfish motives, fellow human beings who strive for this ignorance or achieve it through coercion are greatly to blame. Spiritual freedom must be preserved for every human being, and therefore he must also be given the opportunity to examine every school of thought, i.e. to take note of it and consider the pros and cons. Only then can a person decide freely and form his spiritual state accordingly...., but this is never possible if his spirit is gagged, i.e. if he is forced to think as his fellow human being pleases....

Liberdade mental.... Tomada de decisão não influenciada....

Para alcançar o conhecimento certo, não deve ser negada ao homem a liberdade de pensamento. Mas isto é-lhe tirado se lhe for dada uma certa orientação, ou seja, se for influenciado na medida em que certos pontos de vista e opiniões lhe são apresentados até que o pensamento da pessoa avance na mesma direcção. Esta é uma certa compulsão, um fechamento do pensamento livre, que não fica sem efeito em pessoas que não podem oferecer qualquer resistência. Tais pessoas nunca podem chegar à realização, pois se tornam incapazes de pensar por si mesmas e, conseqüentemente, também sem julgamento. O ser humano deve ter a oportunidade de decidir em todas as direções e, portanto, também deve ser capaz de mover-se em todas as direções do pensamento até que tome sua própria decisão. Portanto, não lhe deve ser prescrito e também não lhe deve ser negado o que se deve aproximar da sua linha de pensamento, o que ele quer aceitar ou rejeitar. Pois só assim será possível para ele chegar ao conhecimento através da reflexão. Deve ser-lhe permitido seguir todas as escolas de pensamento, caso contrário não poderá ser responsabilizado nem obter qualquer vantagem espiritual se pensar mal ou com razão. E por isso é a maior injustiça querer exercer uma influência determinante sobre as pessoas em assuntos espirituais..... É errado diante de Deus e das pessoas conduzir à força o pensamento das pessoas para visões e ensinamentos completamente errados.... É errado querer basear a educação dos jovens em idéias completamente erradas e numa direção completamente errada do pensamento. Os jovens devem ter a oportunidade de decidir livremente qual a escola de pensamento que querem adotar. A eles deve ser concedida liberdade de pensamento e o conhecimento das diferentes escolas de pensamento deve ser-lhes acessível, para que possam decidir por si próprios sem a influência determinante dos seus semelhantes. Onde quer que a liberdade de pensamento seja tocada, o ser humano é carimbado como um ser não livre; o que lhe foi dado por Deus é-lhe tirado pelo ser humano..... A influência espiritual só pode ser aprovada se o amor altruísta puder ser reconhecido nela, que quer proteger o ser humano do mal à sua alma. Entretanto, onde uma certa cegueira espiritual é incutida por egoísmo, onde o ser humano é mantido na ignorância por motivos egoístas, os semelhantes que lutam por essa ignorância ou a alcançam através da coerção são muito culpados. A liberdade espiritual deve ser preservada para cada ser humano e, portanto, deve ser-lhe dada também a oportunidade de examinar cada escola de pensamento, ou seja, de tomar nota dela e de considerar os prós e os contras. Só então o ser humano pode decidir livremente e formar o seu estado espiritual em conformidade.... o que, no entanto, nunca é possível se o seu espírito for amordaçado, ou seja, o ser humano é forçado a pensar como o seu semelhante gosta....._>Amém
