Without overcoming himself the human being cannot ascend, for only the human being who overcomes himself, who constantly fights against the ignoble in his nature, will shape himself such that he can approach the eternal deity and partake of His love and grace. He has to carry out the changes of his nature himself, he has to work on himself and thus take care of the reorganization of his soul, only then will the spirit from God be able to unite with the soul. But once this moment has occurred, when the union of soul and spirit has taken place, then the working of the spirit can also be clearly recognized.... Then the spirit in the human being drives him to lively activity for God.... Man's endeavours are now constantly directed towards the spiritual realm, while earthly life has lost its attraction for him. Although he still carries out earthly activities, his creative urge is directed towards the expansion of God's kingdom on earth, and it is his activity for this kingdom that gives him inner satisfaction. Spiritual work has now become his purpose in life, and he now also recognizes the necessity of this for his fellow human beings. What he has recognized as a treasure he now also tries to convey to his fellow human beings, and this undertaking requires perseverance and strength of resistance and can therefore only be carried out by a person who is serious about serving God, who recognizes the hardship of his fellow human beings, who is aware of their great distance from God and wants to remedy this situation. And his willingness to serve is accepted by God, it testifies to his love for God and his fellow human beings. But it will only be successful when the spirit of God is at work in the person, for only then will he be able to help his fellow human being in an enlightening way, otherwise he will be unable to give anything that will benefit him. For only the truth will benefit him again and therefore the one who wants to give must be in the knowledge. But this knowledge is imparted to him by the spirit from God so that he can now pass it on to those who want to receive it. Only then do they likewise begin to mould themselves according to God's will, to change their nature and to make themselves receptive to the spirit from God. For all higher development must be preceded by the transformation of the innermost being, without this the maturing of the soul is not possible....

Sem autoconquista o ser humano não pode ascender, pois só o ser humano que se supera a si mesmo, que luta constantemente contra o ignóbil em sua natureza, se moldará de tal modo que possa aproximar-se da Deidade eterna e tornar-se participante do Teu amor e graça. Ele próprio tem de realizar as mudanças em sua natureza, tem de trabalhar sobre si mesmo e assim cuidar da remodelação de sua alma, só então o espírito de Deus será capaz de se unir à alma. Mas uma vez ocorrido este momento, que a união da alma e do espírito ocorreu, então o funcionamento do espírito também pode ser claramente reconhecido..... Então o espírito no ser humano impele-o a uma actividade viva para Deus.... O esforço do ser humano está agora constantemente dirigido para o reino espiritual, enquanto que a vida terrena perdeu a sua atração por ele. Embora ele ainda exerça atividade terrena, seu impulso criativo é, no entanto, dirigido para a expansão do Reino de Deus na Terra, e somente a atividade para isso lhe dá satisfação interior. O trabalho espiritual tornou-se agora o seu propósito na vida, e ele agora também reconhece a necessidade dele para os seus semelhantes. O que ele reconheceu como um tesouro que agora também tenta transmitir aos seus semelhantes, e este empreendimento requer perseverança e resiliência e, portanto, só pode ser realizado por uma pessoa que seja séria no serviço a Deus, que reconheça as dificuldades dos seus semelhantes, que saiba da sua grande distância de Deus e que queira remediar este estado. E a sua vontade de servir é aceita por Deus, ela testemunha o amor a Deus e aos semelhantes. No entanto, só terá êxito quando o espírito de Deus trabalhar no ser humano, pois só então ele poderá ajudar o seu semelhante de uma maneira esclarecedora, caso contrário não poderá dar nada que o beneficie. Pois novamente só a verdade lhe será benéfica, e por isso a pessoa que quer dar deve estar em conhecimento. Mas esse conhecimento lhe é transmitido pelo espírito de Deus, para que ele possa agora transmiti-lo àqueles que o querem receber. Só então eles também começarão a se moldar segundo a vontade de Deus, a mudar sua natureza e a se tornar receptivos ao espírito de Deus. Para cada desenvolvimento superior deve ser precedido pela transformação do ser interior, sem o qual não é possível uma maturação da alma...._>Amém
