Proximity to God - application of strength.... image of God....

Everything that has God as its goal is good; consequently, the human being, whose endeavour is directed towards God, must also ennoble himself, because drawing closer to God results in everything that is necessary to become perfect.... The human being will shape himself in such a way that God will consider him worthy of His closeness, and in turn the closeness to God will give him the strength to develop ever more perfectly. For he who strives towards God.... who desires to come close to God will also stand in love. But love also conveys the love of God to him, and this in turn is strength that man feels and that makes it easier for him to become perfect. Divine emanation of love is the imparting of strength, and as soon as the human being is honoured by the gift of strength from God, he is also able to shape himself in accordance with divine will. The human being can then no longer do anything that goes against His will, for love protects him from it. The human being feels a strong urge to be good because the will towards God eliminates all evil desire. For to the same extent as man draws closer to God through his desire, he distances himself from God's adversary, and everything that was once evil must now be good in him. The adversary no longer has any influence on such a person. But God now works in abundance, for man increases in strength and grace the more he unites himself with God. And where God's grace is at work, the human being must inevitably reach the heights, he must become perfect and mould himself into the image of God....

La Vicinanza di Dio - L’apporto di Forza - L’Immagine di Dio

Tutto ciò che ha Dio per Meta, è buono; di conseguenza anche l’uomo il cui tendere è rivolto verso Dio deve nobilitarsi, perché l’avvicinamento a Dio ha per conseguenza tutto ciò che è necessario per diventare perfetto. L’uomo quindi si formerà in modo che Dio lo ritenga degno della Sua Vicinanza, e questa gli farà nuovamente affluire la Forza per svilupparsi in modo sempre più perfetto. Perché chi tende verso Dio, chi desidera avvicinarsi a Dio, starà anche nell’amore. Ma questo gli trasmette anche l’Amore di Dio, e questo nuovamente è Forza, che l’uomo percepisce e che gli rende facile il divenire perfetto. L’Irradiazione dell’Amore divino è trasmissione di Forza ed appena l’uomo viene considerato degno dell’apporto di Forza da Dio, è anche in grado di formarsi com’è la Volontà divina. Allora l’uomo non può più fare ciò che trasgredisce contro la Sua Volontà, perché da questo lo protegge l’amore. L’uomo sente una forte spinta di essere buono, perché la volontà per Dio esclude ogni desiderio cattivo. Perché nella stessa misura come l’uomo si avvicina a Dio attraverso il suo desiderio, si allontana dall’avversario di Dio, e tutto ciò che prima era maligno, ora dev’essere buono in lui. L’avversario non ha più nessuna influenza su un tale uomo. Ma ora Dio opera in ultramisura, perché l’uomo aumenta ora in Forza e Grazia, più si unisce con Dio. E dove opera la Grazia di Dio, là l’uomo deve inevitabilmente giungere in Alto, deve diventare perfetto e formarsi in Immagine di Dio.
