Mood disorders.... Depression.... Proof of love....

People do not pay attention to the different currents which are expressed in different states of mind and are therefore also not informed that these currents are not coincidences either, that therefore the emotional life of man is also a result of his attitude towards God or the opposing power. It is precisely the human being suffering from such moods of mind who is visibly seized by God's love, for God takes care of the human being who is in danger of forgetting Him by influencing the human being's emotional life, impairing the joy of life and allowing a general despondency to take possession of him. And in many cases, this is tremendously beneficial, for only at such times does the human being's thoughts turn to his Creator; only when everything earthly has lost its value does the human being remember his true purpose. And therefore, days of inner struggle must come over people, days in which they realise the frailty of earthly enjoyment. Real hardship and suffering need not always be the reason for this, the gloomy mood can arise in the human being himself without external cause. And this is the influence of those beings to whom people are entrusted, and who are concerned about their soul's salvation and anxiously watch over every stirring of the human heart. There is an obvious danger that the human being will devote all his strength to the demands made on him by earthly life; then they will intervene by strongly inhibiting the zest for action, the joy of earthly life, and the human being will fall into a depressed mood. And it is good if a person allows himself to be influenced by them.... if such times bring him hours of inner contemplation, then they have not come upon him in vain. Yet not all people listen to the inner admonition.... Very many try to stifle their emotions in heightened earthly enjoyment, and they also succeed because their will is more focussed on earthly life, and they thoughtlessly pass over such moods, only intent on restoring the old state of inner contentment. Let not the man complain whose life has days which seem difficult and unbearable to him, and which are only caused by his emotional life. God's love is close to them, and such hours are only aids from friends in the beyond who want to prevent the human being from losing himself in earthly pleasures. Everything that gives the impression on earth that the human being has to live in want in earthly life is always just a proof of grace from divine love, which can only guide the human being onto the right path in this way, onto the path that leads to eternal glory and will fully compensate the earthly child for what it had to do without or give up on earth. For earthly pleasures pass away but the eternal glories remain, and these alone are the ones which should be desired on earth....

Predisposizione d’animo – Depressioni – Dimostrazione d’amore

Gli uomini non badano alle differenti correnti che si manifestano in diversa predisposizione d’animo, e perciò non sono nemmeno informati, che anche queste correnti non sono dei casi, che quindi anche la vita affettiva dell’uomo è un fenomeno dovuto alla conseguenza dalla loro disposizione verso Dio o verso il potere avverso. Proprio l’uomo che soffre sotto tali stati d’animo, viene afferrato visibilmente dall’Amore di Dio, perché Dio Si prende cura dell’uomo che è in pericolo di dimenticare Lui, agendo sullo stato d’animo dell’uomo, mentre pregiudica la gioia nella vita e fa in modo che un generale scoraggiamento prenda possesso di lui. E questo è in molti casi di enorme benedizione, perché soltanto in tali tempi il pensare dell’uomo si rivolge al suo Creatore: solo quando tutto il terreno ha perduto il suo valore, l’uomo pensa alla sua reale destinazione.

E perciò devono venire sugli uomini dei giorni di lotta interiore, dei giorni nei quali si rendono conto della caducità dei godimenti terreni. Non sempre deve essere il motivo di reale miseria e sofferenze, l’umore offuscato nell’uomo può sorgere da sé senza stimolo esteriore. E questa è l’influenza di quegli esseri, ai quali gli uomini sono affidati e che si curano del bene della loro anima e vigilano timorosi su ogni moto del cuore umano.

Il pericolo che l’uomo impieghi tutta la forza nelle pretese che gli pone la vita terrena è vicino; allora loro intervengono, mentre ostacolano fortemente la spinta all’azione, la gioia nella vita terrena, ed ora l’uomo cade in un umore deprimente. E questo è bene, se l’uomo se ne lascia influenzare, quando tali tempi gli procurano delle ore di riflessione interiore allora non sono venute inutilmente sull’uomo. Non tutti gli uomini ascoltano l’ammonimento interiore. Moltissimi cercano di soffocare i moti d’animo in maggior godimento terreno ed a loro riesce pure, dato che la volontà è appunto più rivolta alla vita terrena, e loro passano spensierati oltre a tali umori sempre soltanto intenzionati di ristabilire il loro precedente stato di soddisfazione interiore.

Non deve lamentarsi l’uomo la cui vita registra delle giornate che gli appaiono pesanti ed insopportabili e che sono soltanto dovute alla sua vita sentimentale. A loro è vicino l’Amore di Dio, e quelle ore sono soltanto dei mezzi ausiliari degli amici dell’aldilà, che vogliono impedire agli uomini di perdersi nel godimento terreno. Tutto ciò che sulla Terra risveglia l’apparenza che l’uomo debba languire nella vita terrena, è sempre soltanto una dimostrazione di Grazia dell’Amore divino, che soltanto così può guidare l’uomo sulla retta via, sulla via che conduce all’eterna Magnificenza e che ricompenserà pienamente il figlio terreno per ciò a cui ha dovuto rinunciare e dare via sulla Terra, perché delle gioie terrene passano, ma le eterne Magnificenze rimangono, e sono soltanto queste che devono essere desiderate sulla Terra.
