Christ advocate.... forgiveness of sins.... affirming the work of salvation....

Confess your guilt to the heavenly father so that He may free you from it. There is no law that could call God's love into question.... there is nothing that is unrealizable on the part of man that God demands of him. So if you are burdened by guilt and would like to be freed from it, you need only turn your whole will to the father and commend yourselves to Him and His grace. And He will remove all guilt from you if it is your heartfelt desire to be freed from it. For you have a mighty intercessor with God, Jesus Christ, who took your guilt of sin upon Himself out of love for you and died for it. You only need to ask for His love and His intercession, i.e. consciously place yourselves in the circle of those for whom the saviour died, and you will share in the graces of the work of redemption.... You will be freed from all guilt for the sake of Jesus. Only your will must have become active.... You must perceive sin itself as a burden from which you wish to be free, you must detest it, and the desire for deliverance must be so strong in you that you avail yourselves of the saviour's divine love and grace and allow yourselves to be redeemed from all guilt. This will is an affirmation, an acknowledgement of the work of redemption.... you then have faith in Jesus Christ, the saviour of the world.... you turn to Him and away from the author of sin.... You thus regocnize the wrong you have done. And the feeling of guilt makes you humble, it makes you ask for mercy.... You establish contact with the heavenly father in the realization that you have sinned against Him, that you have not observed His commandments and therefore also not fulfilled them.... You perceive this as an injustice, you are no longer arrogant or aware of your worth but humbly ask the father for His grace and mercy. And He hears your prayer for the sake of His son.... He accepts the atoning sacrifice that Jesus offered Him through His death on the cross for you and your sin.... And so He has redeemed you from all sin....

Christus Fürsprecher.... Sündenvergebung.... Bejahen des Erlösungswerkes....

Bekennet eure Schuld dem himmlischen Vater, auf daß Er euch davon befreie. Es gibt kein Gesetz, das die Liebe Gottes in Frage stellen könnte.... es gibt nichts, das unerfüllbar wäre von seiten des Menschen, was Gott von ihm verlangt. So euch also Schuld drückt und ihr von dieser befreit werden möchtet, braucht sich nur euer ganzer Wille zum Vater wenden und ihr euch Ihm und Seiner Gnade empfehlen. Und Er wird alle Schuld von euch nehmen, so es euer inniger Wunsch ist, davon befreit zu werden. Denn ihr habt einen gewaltigen Fürsprecher bei Gott, Jesus Christus, Der ja aus Liebe zu euch eure Sündenschuld auf Sich nahm und dafür gestorben ist. Ihr braucht nur diese Seine Liebe und Seine Fürsprache zu erbitten, euch also bewußt in den Kreis derer zu stellen, für die der Heiland gestorben ist, und ihr werdet der Gnaden des Erlösungswerkes teilhaftig werden.... Ihr werdet frei werden von aller Schuld um Jesu willen. Nur muß euer Wille tätig geworden sein.... Ihr müßt die Sünde selbst als eine Last empfinden, von der ihr frei zu werden wünschet, ihr müßt sie verabscheuen, und der Wunsch nach Befreiung muß so heftig in euch sein, daß ihr eben die göttliche Liebe und Gnade des Heilands in Anspruch nehmet und euch erlösen lasset von aller Schuld. Dieser Wille ist ein Bejahen, ein Anerkennen des Erlösungswerkes.... ihr steht also dann im Glauben an Jesus Christus, den Erlöser der Welt.... ihr wendet euch Ihm zu und von dem Urheber der Sünde ab.... Ihr erkennet somit das Unrecht, das ihr getan habt. Und das Schuldig-Fühlen läßt euch demütig werden, es läßt euch bitten um Erbarmen.... Ihr stellt die Verbindung her zum himmlischen Vater in der Erkenntnis, daß ihr wider Ihn gesündigt habt, daß ihr Seine Gebote nicht beachtet und also auch nicht erfüllt habt.... Ihr empfindet dies als Unrecht, ihr seid nicht mehr überheblich oder euch eures Wertes bewußt, sondern demütig bittet ihr den Vater um Seine Gnade und Barmherzigkeit. Und Er höret euer Gebet um Seines Sohnes willen.... Er nimmt das Sühneopfer an, das Ihm Jesus durch Seinen Tod am Kreuze für euch und eure Sünde dargebracht hat.... Und also hat Er euch erlöst von allen Sünden....
