Spiritual riches.... conscious rejection of the truth....

being in living contact with the divine lord brings man the greatest spiritual wealth, and this direct instruction should therefore be extremely desirable to people, but they often do not recognize such an extraordinary working of the eternal deity in its full extent and are therefore little interested in it as long as they do not penetrate the divine reign and working through love within themselves. The blessing of divine teachings lies only in the perseverance of constantly receiving them. It is only through its constant willingness that the earthly child gives proof that it is imbued with the divine teaching.... He no longer asks for earthly success, but is always and constantly intent on collecting spiritual goods and completely disregards earthly advantages. Yet this obvious working of God will remain a difficult problem for people to solve, despite many attempts, where the human being is immensely occupied by earthly activity in his daily life. All attempts fail where intellectual clarification is required, whereas the evidence of divine activity of love is irrefutable and indestructible by hostile power where the human being wants to recognize it. The human being, who always wants to prove, will not shy away from making false claims in order to be able to deny only spiritual working, and yet in the end the truth will obviously come to light, for the truth will continue to exist throughout eternal times, whereas everything that does not want to recognize the truth must perish. And thus it is far more beneficial to receive the divine gifts and allow them to take effect even without the necessary understanding than to not allow the pure truth to come to the fore due to purely human weakness. For this will come to light and those who consciously reject it and do not increase their spiritual wealth will be at a great disadvantage....

Geistige Reichtümer.... Bewußtes Ablehnen der Wahrheit....

In lebendiger Fühlungnahme zu stehen mit dem göttlichen Herrn trägt dem Menschen größten geistigen Reichtum ein, und es müßte also überaus begehrenswert diese unmittelbare Unterweisung den Menschen sein, jedoch diese erkennen oft nicht in seinem ganzen Umfang ein so außergewöhnliches Wirken der ewigen Gottheit und sind sonach wenig interessiert daran, solange sie nicht durch die Liebe in sich eindringen in das göttliche Walten und Wirken. Nur in der Ausdauer unentwegten Entgegennehmens göttlicher Lehren liegt der Segen derselben. Es gibt das Erdenkind durch seine stete Bereitwilligkeit erst den Beweis, daß es durchdrungen ist von der göttlichen Lehre.... es fragt nicht mehr nach irdischem Erfolg, sondern ist stets und ständig darauf bedacht, geistiges Gut zu sammeln, und läßt irdische Vorteile völlig unbeachtet. Doch es wird den Menschen dieses offensichtliche Wirken Gottes trotz mannigfacher Versuche ein schwer zu lösendes Problem bleiben, wo der Mensch in seinem täglichen Leben ungemein in Anspruch genommen ist durch irdische Tätigkeit. Alle Versuche schlagen fehl, wo verstandesmäßig Aufschluß verlangt wird, dagegen unwiderlegbar und durch feindliche Macht unzerstörbar sind die Beweise göttlichen Liebewirkens, wo der Mensch dies erkennen will. Es wird der Mensch, der stets beweisen will, nicht davor zurückschrecken, falsche Behauptungen aufzustellen, um nur geistiges Wirken verneinen zu können, und doch wird letzten Endes die Wahrheit offensichtlich an den Tag kommen, denn es bleibt die Wahrheit bestehen durch ewige Zeiten, während alles zugrunde gehen muß, das nicht die Wahrheit anerkennen will. Und so ist es um vieles segensreicher, auch ohne das nötige Verständnis die göttlichen Gaben in Empfang zu nehmen und auf sich wirken zu lassen, als aus rein menschlicher Schwäche die reine Wahrheit nicht zur Geltung kommen zu lassen. Denn es wird diese an den Tag kommen, und in größtem Nachteil werden stehen, die bewußt solche ablehnten und ihren geistigen Reichtum nicht vermehrten....
