Blessing of deformity....

The human being has to undergo an involuntary yet very beneficial test of life if he, due to his external appearance, is unable to enjoy earthly pleasures, i.e. if the opportunity of undivided enjoyment of life is taken from him due to some kind of deformity and he is forced to give up earthly joys. He could then be in great danger to think of his Creator in bitterness or even reject Him completely because the will of a Deity who, in his opinion, imparts gifts to His earthly children unfairly, is incomprehensible to him. However, if he remains faithful in spite of his misfortune, spiritual progress will be possible for him much sooner since he will find it easier to resist the world and its temptations and in absence of worldly pleasures will be far more able to occupy himself with spiritual problems, which will lead him to the state of maturity much sooner. Consequently, such human beings often achieve the right understanding of their life in a short time.... They no longer demand complete fulfilment in life and patiently await the time when their earthly existence comes to an end, convinced that only then true life will begin and that their time on earth will have an appropriate effect in the beyond.

Hence, a deformed person on earth has a certain advantage in as much as the denial of worldly pleasures is easier for him than for a well proportioned person who is constantly confronted with the temptations of the world, but only if he contributes towards it himself, that is, if he, in submission to God's will, accepts his imposed destiny and thanks his Creator that He had given him life. If such a human being is spiritually active he soon will no longer consider his body a misfortune but consider spiritual life a desirable goal. He will always strive to increase his spiritual knowledge; he will also love his fellow human beings and not grumble at his fate or even fight God....

Miseducation and its blessings....

O ser humano tem de passar um teste de vida involuntário, mas extremamente salutar,quando se vê incapaz de prestar homenagem aos prazeres terrenos na sua forma exterior, ou seja, quando é privado da oportunidade de gozar indivisivelmente da vida, devido a algum tipo de deformidade, sendo assim forçado a renunciar aos prazeres terrenos. Ele está agora em grande perigo de pensar no seu Criador em amargura ou mesmo de rejeitá-lo completamente, porque a vontade de uma Deidade, que em sua opinião injustamente dá presentes às crianças terrenas, é incompreensível para ele. Mas se, apesar de seu infortúnio, ele permanece em profunda fé, o progresso espiritual é muito mais possível para ele, pois se torna fácil para ele resistir ao mundo com suas tentações e, na ausência de prazeres terrenos, ele gasta muito mais tempo com problemas espirituais que o levam muito mais cedo ao estado de maturidade. Assim, estas pessoas chegam frequentemente à visão correcta da sua vida num curto espaço de tempo.... Já não exigem dele o cumprimento total, mas esperam pacientemente o tempo que lhes dará fim, convencidos de que só então a vida certa terá o seu início e a mudança na Terra terá o efeito correspondente no além. Assim, a pessoa deformada na Terra tem uma certa vantagem em que é mais fácil para ela renunciar aos prazeres terrenos do que para uma pessoa em boa forma, que está constantemente exposta às tentações do mundo, mas apenas se ela fizer a sua parte, isto é, se suportar devotamente o destino que lhe foi imposto de acordo com a vontade de Deus e agradecer ao seu Criador por lhe ter dado a vida. Se tal pessoa for espiritualmente ativa, logo não mais considerará sua forma como um infortúnio, mas verá a vida espiritual como um objetivo desejável. Ele só se esforçará para aumentar seu conhecimento espiritual, e também dará amor a seus semelhantes e não resmungará ou mesmo se rebelará contra Deus por causa de seu destino....
