Fight against evil.... care of the inner life.... habitual worries....

You will always have to make an effort to fight against the power of the evil one, for his cunning and trickery are unbelievable and will repeatedly throw you back if you do not make every effort to become his master. And he uses all available means and tries to turn the hearts of the believers away from their love for God and their struggle for perfection. And he very often succeeds in doing so, as he has all means on his side that are closer to the desires of earthly people, who are all too happy to demand fulfilment. Yet a believing heart that trusts in God will be able to resist all the incentives and temptations of this world and will be rewarded if it faithfully serves the father in heaven. And it can therefore expect the greatest advantage, which will not falter in the battle with the evil powers....

Man should take the greatest care to cultivate his inner life, then the source of wisdom will also open up to him. He should endeavour to avert the slightest danger to his soul by taming himself and thus not allowing the opposing power to gain control over him. As soon as he realizes that all human impulses are in certain opposition to the demands of the soul, danger is imminent, and if he now gives in to these impulses, the first step has been taken towards stumbling or deviating from the right path. This becomes very clear to you when you strive for a living bond with God and have to recognize how you distance yourselves in spirit from the heavenly father if you give in to human impulses.... and what force you have to use in order to feel like a child of the father again. Entering into the right relationship with Him is often not as difficult as restoring the right relationship once it has been loosened. And this should warn you. There are always bad forces at work that want to destroy what the good forces have built up. Follow the inner voice that keeps telling you how much nobler it is to endure adversity than to rebel against injustice, which always stems from a lack of spiritual maturity. Everyone cares about what he considers to be the highest.... If this concern is for earthly needs, man's mind is still very much earthly and he can hardly be expected to concern himself with spiritual goods. And in the same way the absorption in earthly worries is so incomprehensible to a spiritually advanced person because he has learnt to regard them as trivial and unimportant and he cannot understand that time, strength and will are not used more profitably for eternity. Earthly man so often does not want to do without worry out of old habit.... he has the opportunity to get rid of it if he trustingly entrusts everything to the eternal deity, but he prefers to remain burdened with it himself and avoids all help offered to him. And it is difficult to help such a soul to achieve inner peace. But then the fellow human being should exercise the greatest love and patience and repeatedly try to instruct such an erring person correctly as often as possible, for all resistance will fade one day and the victor will always remain who exercises patience, never allows unkindness to arise and asks the father in heaven for a blessing for his endeavour to guide the erring person correctly and to help him achieve inner peace.

Luta contra o mal.... Cuidados com a vida interior.... Preocupações com o hábito....

Você sempre terá que fazer um esforço para lutar contra o poder do maligno, pois sua astúcia e suas artimanhas são inacreditáveis e o jogará de volta e de novo se você não fizer todo o esforço para se tornar seu mestre. E ele usa todos os meios disponíveis e tenta desviar os corações dos crentes do seu amor por Deus e da sua luta pela perfeição. E muitas vezes ele consegue fazê-lo, pois tem ao seu lado todos os meios que estão mais próximos dos desejos da pessoa terrena, os quais exigem de bom grado a sua realização. Mas um coração crente e confiante em Deus será capaz de resistir a todos os incentivos e tentações deste mundo, e sua recompensa virá a ele se servir fielmente ao Pai que está nos céus. E, portanto, pode esperar a maior vantagem, que não irá sinalizar na batalha com os poderes malignos....

O homem deve ter o maior cuidado com a sua vida interior, então a fonte de sabedoria também se abrirá para ele. Ele deve esforçar-se para evitar o menor perigo à sua alma, domando-se a si mesmo e assim não permitindo que o poder oposto ganhe controle sobre ele. Assim que ele observa que todos os impulsos humanos estão em certa oposição às exigências da alma, o perigo se aproxima, e se ele agora dá lugar a esses impulsos, o primeiro passo é dado no sentido de tropeçar ou desviar-se do caminho certo. Isso tornar-se-á muito claro para vós se vos esforçardes por uma ligação viva com Deus e tiverdes de reconhecer como vos distanciais em espírito do Pai celestial, se cedestes aos impulsos humanos e que força tendes de usar para vos sentirdes novamente como um filho do Pai. Entrar na relação certa com Ele muitas vezes não é tão difícil quanto restaurar a relação certa uma vez que ela tenha sido solta. E isto deve avisar-te. Há sempre forças más a trabalhar que querem destruir o que as forças boas construíram. Segue a voz interior que, uma e outra vez, te dá indicações de como é mais nobre suportar adversidades do que rebelar-se contra a injustiça, cuja origem é sempre a falta de maturidade espiritual. Todos se preocupam com o que lhe parece ser a maior.... Se essa preocupação se aplica às necessidades terrenas, a mente do ser humano ainda é muito terrena e dificilmente se pode esperar que ele se preocupe com os bens espirituais. E da mesma forma, a absorção de uma pessoa espiritualmente avançada nas preocupações terrenas é tão incompreensível porque aprendeu a considerá-las triviais e sem importância e não pode compreender que o tempo, a força e a vontade não podem ser usados de forma mais benéfica para a eternidade. A pessoa terrena tantas vezes não quer perder a preocupação por causa do velho hábito.... Ele tem a oportunidade de se libertar dela, se confia tudo à Deidade eterna, mas prefere permanecer sobrecarregado com ela e evitar toda a ajuda que lhe é oferecida. E uma tal alma é difícil de ajudar para alcançar a paz interior. Mas então o ser humano deve fazer uso do maior amor e paciência e, sempre e sempre que possível, tentar instruir corretamente essa pessoa que erra, pois toda a resistência, mais cedo ou mais tarde, morrerá e o vitorioso permanecerá sempre aquele que pratica a paciência, que nunca permite que a indelicadeza surja e pede ao Pai do céu a bênção de seu plano de guiar corretamente a pessoa que erra e de ajudá-la a alcançar a paz interior.
