Faith is a prerequisite for knowledge.... living on....

The need on earth is great, and standing in direct contact with the earth, the dangers for the soul are endless and manifold.... There are so few possibilities that ensure ascent without struggle. Only when love is exceptionally active in the human heart are such souls in a state of maturity in a short time. In general, however, people are not urged enough by love, and so the soul has an extremely difficult time until it has overcome all earthly dangers and is released from the heaviness of earth. But as soon as the endeavour to only act according to God's will sets in, the dangers for the soul will also be less, for the conscious search for the deity is the first step towards the soul's advancement. At present, however, there is great hardship on earth, for the inclination to live is predominantly.... and this inclination only ever extends to earthly life but not to life in the beyond, which should of necessity be lived in a correspondingly listless and God-pleasing manner for the beyond.... But people don't think about that.... they only know life on earth.... but a continuation of life after death is completely unthinkable to them, and therefore they do not prepare their lives for such a life. And so the majority of humanity lives as if the hour of reckoning would never come for them, every day is devoted solely to earthly worries and plans.... They strive incessantly to increase their possessions, to bring themselves prestige and honour and to savour the joys and pleasures of the world, and hardly listen to their fellow human beings who, with a view to a higher being, would like to give them exhortations and lead them to faith in God. What they were taught as children has probably remained in their minds, but very few are convinced of the truth of what they were taught and are much more inclined to ridicule the teaching they were given or not give it any attention or importance. And thus a spiritual alienation will increasingly occur amongst humanity; there will only be a few who enter into contact with the eternal deity, but most will displace all christian teachings with purely worldly ones, and all faith will be destroyed if people themselves do not fight for it. People will instruct each other in everything necessary for earthly existence, yet what should be most important to them, to cultivate true profound faith as the foundation of knowledge, they will overlook as indifferent and thereby harm themselves the most, for the more they distance themselves from faith the more incapable they become of fathoming the truth. All earthly endeavours are then so unimportant because they do not improve the soul's lot in the slightest but rather shroud it ever deeper in darkness.... Only faith is able to bring light to people on earth, and only the acceptance of faith fulfils the conditions for a God-pleasing life on earth. You are not yet aware of the latter as long as you turn away from faith, and you will realize for yourselves how empty and stale life as such is if you do not know the true reason for your earthly existence.... Only the knowledge of this is necessary in order to make you work hard in earthly life for life after death, for eternal life in the beyond.... then you will know your task, then you will also try to fulfil it completely. And even if life then offers you hardship, worry and suffering, you will gladly take it all upon yourselves in the belief that you will continue to exist and without complaining, for one day a life of joy in the beyond beckons to you if you have devotedly borne the suffering on earth in God's will and have been purified by it from everything that would have prevented you from entering the heavenly paradise. In the same way, your bodily burden will also be taken from you, and your survival after death will make you forget all hardship if you are allowed to dwell in the neighbourhood of the lord. Therefore, pay attention to the coming time. The hardship on earth is great and anyone who recognizes it should make every effort to alleviate it and offer his fellow human beings spiritual and physical help if they are in need of it....

Fé Pré-Condição do Conhecimento.... Survival....

As dificuldades na terra são grandes, e estando em contacto directo com a terra os perigos para a alma são intermináveis e múltiplos.... Há tão poucas possibilidades que garantam a ascensão sem luta. Só quando o amor é excepcionalmente ativo no coração humano é que tais almas estão no estado de maturidade em um curto espaço de tempo. Geralmente, porém, as pessoas não são suficientemente pressionadas pelo amor, e assim a alma tem um tempo extremamente difícil até que tenha superado todos os perigos terrenos e seja aliviada do peso da terra. Mas se o esforço para agir apenas de acordo com a vontade de Deus começar, os perigos para a alma também serão menores, pois a busca consciente da Deidade é o primeiro passo para o avanço da alma. Actualmente, porém, há grandes dificuldades na Terra, pois a inclinação para a vida é predominante.... e esta inclinação só se estende à vida terrena, mas não à vida no além, que, por necessidade, deve ser vivida de acordo com a vida sem preocupações e agradando a Deus pelo além.... Mas as pessoas não pensam nisto.... eles só conhecem a vida terrena.... Mas uma continuação da vida após a morte é completamente inconcebível para eles e por isso não ajustam suas vidas a tal vida. E assim a maioria da humanidade vive como se a hora do cálculo nunca chegasse para eles, cada dia é dedicado apenas a preocupações e planos terrestres.... Eles se esforçam incessantemente para aumentar seus bens, para trazer a si mesmos prestígio e honra e para saborear os prazeres e delícias do mundo, e dificilmente escutam seus semelhantes que, em vista de um Ser superior, gostariam de enviar admoestações às pessoas e levá-las à fé em Deus. O que lhes foi ensinado quando crianças certamente ainda permaneceu em seus pensamentos, mas muito poucos estão convencidos da verdade do que lhes foi ensinado e estão muito mais inclinados a ridicularizar o ensinamento que lhes foi oferecido ou a não dar atenção ou importância a ele. E assim uma alienação espiritual ocorrerá cada vez mais entre a humanidade; haverá apenas uns poucos que farão contato com a Deidade eterna, mas a maioria irá deslocar todos os ensinamentos cristãos com ensinamentos puramente mundanos, e toda a fé será destruída se as pessoas não lutarem por ela mesmas. As pessoas ensinarão umas às outras tudo o que é necessário para a existência terrena, mas o que deve ser mais importante para elas, para cultivar a verdadeira fé profunda como fundamento do conhecimento, elas se esquecerão como indiferentes e assim se prejudicarão mais, pois se tornarão cada vez menos capazes de sondar a verdade, quanto mais se distanciarem da fé. Todo o esforço terreno é então tão insignificante porque não melhora o destino da alma ao mínimo, mas envolve-a sempre mais profundamente na escuridão.... Somente a fé é capaz de trazer luz às pessoas na Terra, e somente na aceitação da fé estão as condições preenchidas para uma vida agradável a Deus na Terra. Vocês ainda não sabem sobre este último, desde que se afastem da fé, e se darão conta de como a vida como tal é vazia e obsoleta se não souberem a verdadeira razão da sua existência na Terra.... Somente o conhecimento disso é necessário para que você possa trabalhar duro na vida terrena pela vida após a morte, pela vida eterna no além.... , então você conhecerá sua tarefa, então você também tentará cumpri-la completamente. E mesmo que a vida te ofereça dificuldades, preocupações e sofrimento, aceitarás de bom grado tudo isso sem te queixares na crença de que continuarás a existir, pois um dia uma vida de alegria te acena no além se aceitares humildemente o sofrimento na Terra, de acordo com a vontade de Deus, e tiveres sido purificado por ela de tudo o que te teria impedido de entrar no paraíso celestial. Da mesma forma, o seu fardo corporal será retirado de você, e sua sobrevivência após a morte permitirá que você esqueça todas as adversidades se você for autorizado a permanecer nas proximidades do Senhor. Portanto, preste atenção ao tempo que se aproxima. A dificuldade na Terra é grande e quem a reconhece deve fazer tudo ao seu alcance para aliviá-la e oferecer ajuda aos seus semelhantes, tanto espiritual como fisicamente, se eles precisarem dela....
