Lies and truth....

The greatest evil is lying.... If you recognize the truth and yet pay no attention to it, you allow the spirit of lies to gain power over you.... and its power is greater than you believe, for it poisons your whole thinking.... it robs you of all power of judgement and always has a myriad of vices and bad habits behind it, all of which have their origin in lies. If the light is to shine for you, you must remain in the truth, for where there is falsehood, there is also darkness. No soul likes such darkness, but it is inevitably pushed into it where the truth is not respected. All tribulation comes from lies.... The lie opens the door to evil passions and desires.... it is often so inconspicuous in itself and yet it destroys all good instincts in people. And so all corruption is rooted in the lie, for it is a product of darkness. And so listen up: as long as you do not endeavour to cultivate the purest truth within you.... as long as you take refuge in even the smallest paraphrases or untruths, the spirit of truth will never be able to enlighten you, for you can only unite with the eternal deity when you are completely pure of heart and detest lies with all your heart. And now you see the consequences of a lie swelling to enormous proportions.... You do not know how enormous the effects of the lie are.... how it creates evil and reproduces itself, always giving birth to new lies.... And that is why the lie is the death of the soul, just as the pure truth is the light from the heavens for it. But if you stand up for the truth, it will remain light and bright in you and you will defeat the lie.... For just as the lie is mighty in its power and constantly brings evil in its wake, the pure truth is nevertheless much stronger and can illuminate the night of lies with the brightest light by virtue of its power.... And if mankind only wanted to seek the truth, it would force the lie to its feet and bring infinite blessings to the earth. But as it is, too many opposing forces prevail and are fought little or not at all, and the lie spreads across the whole earth and brings about incredible destruction.... And this is one reason why so little credence is given to the possibility of a pure spiritual connection between the earth and the beyond. What is not so easy for people to understand, they immediately throw into the realm of lies.... They do not scrutinize, but immediately reject, because they know the lie and its accompanying phenomena only too well and know that its devastation extends over all areas.... Pure truth is a lie in their eyes.... they are much more likely to accept the lie unchecked.... If they were to turn to God for enlightenment, they would soon lose all doubt and their powers of judgement would be sharpened, and they would very soon know how to distinguish truth from lies. There would be light in their hearts and they would flee the lie as the most shameful work of evil.... But as long as mankind does not take refuge in prayer.... and plead for knowledge of the truth, it will remain subject to the lie, and that through its own fault.... For the lord imparts the pure truth to His children on earth and wants to offer it to all people.... But who accepts it?.... Only a small part, but the others grope in the blackest darkness and remain children of lies of their own will, and so they will hardly attain eternal life, for only the truth guarantees them this....

거짓과 진리 1....

가장 나쁜 것은 거짓말이다. 비록 너희가 진리를 깨달을 지라도, 진리를 존중하지 않으면, 거짓의 영이 너희에 대한 권세를 갖게 한다. 너희가 생각하는 것보다 그의 권세는 크다. 왜냐하면 거짓의 영은 너희 모든 생각을 중독시키고, 너희의 모든 분별력을 빼앗기 때문이다. 거짓의 영 뒤에는 항상 모든 것이 거짓에 기원을 두고 있는 수많은 죄와 악한 습관이 있다. 너희에게 빛이 비치려면, 너희는 진리 안에 머물러야만 한다.

왜냐하면 거짓이 있는 곳에 어두움이 있기 때문이다. 어떤 혼도 이러한 어두움 속에서 행복하지 않다. 진리가 존중되지 않는 곳에서 혼은 거부할 수 없게 어두움 안으로 끌려 간다. 모든 고난은 거짓으로부터 온다. 거짓은 악한 욕망과 정욕에게 문과 대문을 열어 준다. 거짓은 그 자체가 자주 눈에 띄지 않다. 그러나 사람 안에 모든 선한 성향을 파괴한다. 모든 부패는 거짓에 뿌리를 두고 있다. 왜냐하면 거짓은 어두움의 산물이기 때문이다.

잘 들어라: 너희가 너희 심장 안에 순수한 진리를 심으려고 노력하지 않는 동안에는, 너희가 아직도 작은 말을 돌려서 하는 표현이나, 거짓을 너희의 도피처로 삼는 동안에는, 진리의 영이 너희를 절대로 깨우쳐 줄 수 없다. 왜냐하면 너희는 너희가 전적으로 순수한 심장을 갖고, 거짓을 너희 모든 심장으로 경멸할 때, 비로소 영원한 하나님과 하나가 될 수 있기 때문이다. 너희는 이제 거짓말의 올가미가 커져 엄청나게 큰 영향을 미치는 것을 본다.

너희는 거짓이 얼마나 악을 불러일으키고, 증가되고, 항상 새로운 거짓을 낫는지, 얼마나 거짓말의 결과가 강력한지 알지 못한다. 그러므로 거짓은 혼의 죽음이다. 반면에 순수한 진리는 혼에게 하늘에서 온 빛을 의미한다. 그러므로 너희가 진리를 위해 헌신하면, 너희 안이 빛이 되고, 밝은 상태에 머문다. 너희는 거짓을 이길 것이다. 왜냐하면 거짓의 권세는 강력하고, 항상 악을 생산하지만, 순수한 진리는 훨씬 더 강하여, 거짓의 밤을 가장 밝은 빛의 권세로 비추기 때문이다.

사람들이 단지 진리만을 구하기를 원하면, 이 거짓을 발 아래 굴복시키고 이 땅에 끝없는 축복을 줄 것이다. 그러나 너무 많은 대적자의 세력들이 역사하고, 이에 대항해 적게 또는 아예 싸우지 않는다. 거짓은 이 땅 전체에 퍼지고, 말할 수 없는 파괴를 가져온다. 이 땅과 저 세상과의 순수한 영적인 연결을 이룰 가능성에 대한 믿음을 적게 가지는 일은 바로 이 때문이다.

사람들이 쉽게 이해하지 못하는 것을 즉시 거짓의 나라에서 온 것으로 여기고 버린다. 그들은 분별하지 않고 즉시 거절한다. 왜냐하면 그들은 거짓과 거짓에 동반되는 현상을 아주 정확하게 깨닫고, 끔찍한 결과가 모든 분야에 미친다는 것을 알기 때문이다. 순수한 진리는 그들의 눈에 거짓이다. 그들은 거짓을 분별해보지 않고 더 잘 영접한다. 만약에 그들이 하나님께 깨우침을 구하면, 그들에게 즉시 모든 의심이 사라지고 그들의 분별력이 날카롭게 되었을 것이다. 그들은 곧 진리와 거짓을 분별하는 법을 알게 되었을 것이다. 그들의 심장은 밝아지고 가장 큰 해를 끼치는 악의 역사인 거짓을 피하게 되었을 것이다.

인류가 기도로 도피하지 않는 한, 진리를 깨닫게 해달라고 간구하지 않는 한, 그들은 자신의 잘못으로 인해 거짓에 속박되어 머물 것이다. 주님은 이 땅의 자신의 자녀들에게 순수한 진리를 전하고, 그리고 모든 사람에게 제공하기 원한다. 누가 이를 영접하는가? 아주 적은 숫자 만이고, 다른 사람들은 가장 깊은 어두움 가운데서 더듬거릴 것이고, 자신의 의지로 거짓의 자녀로 머문다. 그러면 그들은 영원한 생명에 도달하기 어렵게 된다. 왜냐하면 단지 진리만이 그들에게 영원한 생명을 보장해주기 때문이다.
