2037 Living beings - power stations....

August 19, 1941: Book 30

The stream of life, whose original source is God Himself, will never run dry, and therefore the earth will harbour living beings as long as it exists, and again the earth will exist as long as spiritual beings are still in need of maturing. Every living being receives power from God, and therefore every living being is a power station from where the power can always be passed on or diverted. The passing on of the power from God is the same as contributing to the increase of that what exists in creation, no matter whether it is still seemingly dead creation, therefore earthly matter, or living creations, the power from God must always be used for the increase of that, otherwise the earth would remain what it was, therefore could never reshape itself. But the earth is in a state of perpetual change, visibly, if man himself brings about this change or if natural elements are active which bring about a lawful transformation. Invisible, however, are the changes which affect matter which appears to be dead, for these often take an unthinkably long time so that man cannot observe them and they are therefore not noticed in a short time. But since the stream of life flows from God to every work of creation, nothing can remain unchanged, for everything that is in creation is alive, and life never means remaining the same, it means constant change in itself. Living beings, however, are obvious carriers of power from God, for they never remain in the same state. There is therefore a force within them that drives them to be active, no matter in what way. And this force is the stream of life from God....
