Formglaube.... Überzeugter Glaube....

In Zeiten größter irdischer Not klärt sich der Geisteszustand der einzelnen Menschen insofern, als daß der Glaube entweder gefestigt wird oder gänzlich verlorengeht, so es zuvor nur ein Formglaube war, der die Menschen noch nicht überzeugen konnte. Es fallen viele ab vom Glauben, ihre Blicke sind noch zu sehr irdisch gerichtet, und sie können das Weltgeschehen und ihr eigenes Schicksal nicht in Einklang bringen mit der ewigen Gottheit, von Der sie sich ihrer Unkenntnis wegen nur ein glückliches Erdenleben erwarten. Sie wollen nur einen Gott anerkennen, Der ihnen alle Annehmlichkeiten des Lebens schenkt, doch daß sie selbst sich ein Wohlergehen auf Erden verscherzen durch ihren Lebenswandel, durch ihre Gottferne, ist ihnen unverständlich. Je schwerer nun die Not an sie herantritt, desto mehr entfernen sie sich von Ihm, sie lehnen Ihn ab, ergeben sich nicht in ihr Schicksal, sondern murren und klagen und suchen sich selbst den Notzustand zu verringern durch ungerechte Handlungen und liebloses Vorgehen gegen den Nächsten. Ihr Glaube an Gott war nur ein Formglaube, der einer ernsten Prüfung nicht standhielt, der aber auch wertlos war und erst zum überzeugten Glauben werden muß. Es sind nur wenige Menschen, die sich in Zeiten der Not enger an Gott anschließen, weil sie fest an Ihn glauben und sich von diesem Glauben nicht abbringen lassen. Sie sehen die Leiden an als das, was sie sind, als ein Mittel, wodurch Gott die Ihm abtrünnigen Menschen gewinnen will. Sie bitten Gott unentwegt um Kraft und sind nun auch fähig, das Leid zu ertragen. Der Glaube gibt ihnen diese Kraft, und Gott verlässet die Seinen nicht, d.h., die an Ihn glauben und zu Ihm flüchten in jeder Not. Der Zustand jener Ungläubigen aber ist hoffnungslos, solange sie nur dem irdischen Geschehen Beachtung schenken und nicht nachdenken über Sinn und Zweck dessen. Es muß aber eine Klärung erfolgen, denn der Formglaube ist kein Glaube, wie Gott ihn fordert.... er ist schulmäßig übertragen worden auf die Menschen und ist an ihnen selbst noch nicht lebendig geworden; es ist ein toter Glaube, der nicht die Seele fördert in ihrer Entwicklung und daher einer starken Prüfung bedarf, auf daß sich der Mensch durch diese klar werde über sein Denken und seine Einstellung zu Gott. Wer Ihn abweiset, beeindruckt durch die Not und das irdische Geschehen, durch das eigene Schicksal, der wird durch größere Prüfungen hindurchgehen müssen, um den Glauben doch noch zu gewinnen, oder er wird verlorengehen und am Ende zu jenen gehören, die verdammt sind, die zu den Gegnern Gottes zählen und darum die gerechte Strafe empfangen, die wieder den Gang durch die neue Schöpfung zurücklegen müssen zum Zwecke ihrer Erlösung. Die Gläubigen werden ebenfalls starken Prüfungen ausgesetzt sein, doch ein überzeugter Glaube läßt sich nicht so leicht erschüttern, und Gott steht denen bei, die Ihm treu sind, die allen Prüfungen standhalten und sich desto inniger an Gott anschließen, weil sie fest an Ihn und Seine Liebe, Allmacht und Weisheit glauben. Und dieser feste Glaube wird ihnen gelohnt werden am Tage des Gerichtes, wo Gott Selbst sie einführt in das Paradies, wo alle Not ein Ende findet und sie in der Gegenwart Gottes überaus glücklich sind....

Form faith.... convinced faith....

In times of greatest earthly adversity the spiritual state of individual people clarifies itself insofar as faith is either strengthened or completely lost, if it was previously only a formal faith which could not yet convince people. Many fall away from faith, their eyes are still too earthly directed and they cannot bring world events and their own fate into harmony with the eternal deity, from Whom they only expect a happy earthly life due to their ignorance. They only want to acknowledge a God Who gives them all the comforts of life, but the fact that they themselves forfeit their well-being on earth through their way of life, through their distance from God, is incomprehensible to them. The more severe the hardship becomes, the more they distance themselves from Him, they reject Him, they do not surrender to their fate but grumble and complain and try to reduce their state of hardship through unjust actions and unkind behaviour towards their neighbour. Their faith in God was only a formal faith which did not stand up to serious scrutiny, but which was also worthless and must first become a convinced faith. There are only a few people who cling more closely to God in times of adversity because they firmly believe in Him and do not let themselves be diverted from this faith. They see suffering for what it is, as a means by which God wants to win over people who have fallen away from Him. They constantly ask God for strength and are now also able to endure suffering. Faith gives them this strength and God does not rely on His own, i.e. those who believe in Him and take refuge in Him in every adversity. But the state of those unbelievers is hopeless as long as they only pay attention to earthly events and don't think about the meaning and purpose of them. But a clarification must take place, for the faith in form is not faith as God demands it.... It has been scholastically transferred to people and has not yet come alive in them; it is a dead faith which does not support the soul in its development and therefore requires a strong examination so that the human being will become clear about his thinking and his attitude towards God. Anyone who rejects Him, impressed by adversity and earthly events, by his own fate, will have to go through greater trials in order to still gain faith after all, or he will get lost and in the end belong to those who are condemned, who belong to God's opponents and therefore receive the just punishment, who will have to travel the path through the new creation again for the purpose of their redemption. The believers will also be exposed to severe trials, yet a convinced faith cannot be shaken so easily, and God stands by those who are faithful to Him, who withstand all trials and attach themselves to God all the more intimately because they firmly believe in Him and His love, omnipotence and wisdom. And this firm faith will be rewarded to them on the day of judgment, when God Himself will lead them into paradise, where all adversity will come to an end and they will be exceedingly happy in the presence of God....
