Wille zum Aufstieg ist Gewähr für Ziel....

Der Wille zum geistigen Aufstieg, das bewußte Streben nach der Erkenntnis, ist die sicherste Gewähr, daß der Mensch sein Ziel erreicht, denn Gott läßt keinen in der Dunkelheit, der nach Licht verlangt. Es ist der Mensch zu Beginn seiner Verkörperung ohne jegliche Kenntnis; es muß ihm diese vermittelt werden, und seinem Willen entsprechend wird auch das Maß sein, der Grad seiner seelischen Entwicklung, die ihm Erkenntnis einträgt. Zuerst geht ihm ein Wissen von außen zu, das er selbst nur verwerten muß, d.h. nachdenken und prüfen, ob er es annehmen kann als Wahrheit. Letzteres läßt schon den Willen nach Wahrheit erkennen. Die Urteilskraft aber ist seinem Lebenswandel entsprechend. Nur ein Gott-gefälliger Lebenswandel trägt ihm volle Urteilskraft ein, denn dann strebt der Mensch Gott zu, und er kommt somit der Wahrheit näher. Anfangs ist sich die Seele ihrer Erdenaufgabe nicht bewußt, und dennoch kann sie auch ohne Wissen um Gott, um Sinn und Zweck des Erdenlebens das Gute anstreben, das Böse verabscheuen. Dann strebt sie unbewußt Gott zu, und das Erkennen der Wahrheit wird ihr nicht schwerfallen, so ihr diese von außen geboten wird. Dennoch muß sie das ihr Dargebotene innerlich verarbeiten, soll es Frucht-bringend wirken, also ihren Aufstieg fördern. Die Fähigkeit zum Prüfen hat der Mensch, weil Gott ihn mit der Gabe des Verstandes ausstattet, die er nützen muß. Der unbewußt Gott zustrebende Mensch wird von seinem Geist getrieben, seinen Verstand tätig werden zu lassen, sowie es um die Erkenntnis geht, sowie dem Menschen Geistesgut geboten wird. Und seine Seele wird dem Geist keinen Widerstand entgegensetzen, sie wird tun, wozu sie vom Geistesfunken in sich gedrängt wird, denn die Seele eines Gott-zustrebenden Menschen, also eines Menschen, der dem Guten zu- und dem Schlechten abgewandt ist, verlangt nach Licht.... Sie läßt sich nicht genügen an mangelhaftem Wissen, sie prüft und grübelt, und ihr wird wahrlich die rechte Antwort gedanklich zugehen, weil dies Gottes Wille ist, daß die Seele in die Wahrheit geleitet wird. Sowie ein bestimmter Reifegrad erzielt ist, sowie der Mensch zur Erkenntnis gelangt ist, d.h. Geistesgut als reine Wahrheit erkannt hat, strebt sie nun bewußt Gott entgegen, sie trachtet nach immer tieferem Wissen, nach ständiger Aufwärtsentwicklung.... Sie trachtet danach, vollkommen zu werden, weil das Verlangen nach Gott immer stärker wird und sie sich Gott anzugleichen sucht, um in Seine Nähe zu gelangen.... Und sie wird wahrlich ihr Ziel erreichen, denn Gott ziehet sie unausgesetzt zu Sich, Er gibt der Seele ihrem Verlangen entsprechend.... Licht und Kraft.... Er lässet sie nimmermehr zurücksinken in den Zustand der Dunkelheit, so sie einmal die Wohltat des Lichtes empfunden hat, so sie wissend geworden und also ihr Geist erwacht ist zum Leben.... Dieser ist nun ständig tätig, und er strebt die Vereinigung an mit dem Vatergeist von Ewigkeit.... Der erweckte Geist fällt aber nimmermehr in den Schlaf zurück, sondern er ruhet nicht, bis diese Vereinigung mit dem Vatergeist stattgefunden hat, die letztes Ziel des Menschen auf der Erde ist....

Will to rise is guarantee for aim....

The will for spiritual ascent, the conscious striving for knowledge, is the surest guarantee that the human being will reach his aim, for God will not leave anyone in darkness who longs for light. At the beginning of his embodiment the human being is without any knowledge; this has to be imparted to him, and the measure, the degree of his spiritual development, which earns him knowledge will also be in accordance with his will. First he receives knowledge from outside which he only has to utilize himself, i.e. think about it and check whether he can accept it as truth. The latter already reveals the will for truth. The power of judgement, however, corresponds to his way of life. Only a God-pleasing way of life earns him full power of judgement, for then the human being strives towards God and thus comes closer to truth. At first the soul is not aware of its earthly task, and yet it can strive for good and detest evil even without knowledge of God, of the meaning and purpose of earthly life. Then it will unconsciously strive towards God, and the recognition of truth will not be difficult for it if it is offered to it from outside. Nevertheless, it must inwardly process what is offered to it if it is to have a fruit-bearing effect, i.e. if it is to promote its ascent. Man has the ability to examine because God endows him with the gift of understanding, which he must use. The human being who unconsciously strives towards God is driven by his spirit to let his intellect become active as soon as it concerns knowledge, as soon as spiritual knowledge is offered to the human being. And his soul will not resist the spirit, it will do what it is urged to do by the spiritual spark within itself, for the soul of a person striving towards God, thus of a person who is turned towards the good and away from the bad, longs for light.... It will not be satisfied with inadequate knowledge, it will examine and ponder and truly receive the right answer mentally, because this is God's will that the soul is guided into truth. As soon as a certain degree of maturity has been achieved, as soon as the human being has attained realization, i.e. has recognized spiritual knowledge as pure truth, it will consciously strive towards God, it will strive for ever deeper knowledge, for constant ascent development.... It strives to become perfect because the desire for God becomes ever stronger and it seeks to conform to God in order to come close to Him.... And it will truly reach its aim, for God constantly draws it to Himself, He gives the soul according to its desire.... light and strength.... He will never let it sink back into the state of darkness once it has felt the benefit of light, once it has become knowledgeable and thus its spirit has awakened to life.... This spirit is now constantly active and strives for unification with the father-spirit from eternity.... The awakened spirit, however, never falls back into sleep but does not rest until this unification with the father-spirit has taken place, which is the human being's final aim on earth....
