Innige Verbindung mit Gott geboten....

Dem Gebot der Stunde müsset ihr alle nachkommen, und dieses lautet: Verbindet euch innig mit Gott, denn nur mit Ihm werdet ihr euch behaupten können in der Welt. Dringender denn je ist es, daß ihr Ihn suchet, daß ihr euch Ihm antraget und um Seine Gnade und Seinen Segen bittet, denn die Not wird groß sein, und keiner wird euch helfen können als nur der Eine, Der über Himmel und Erde regieret. Und darum sollt ihr euch Ihm verbinden, und zwar mit allem Eifer, denn es ist nicht mehr lange Zeit, daß ihr außergewöhnliche Kraft benötigt. Und dann werdet ihr nicht mehr den Willen aufbringen können, an Ihn heranzutreten, so alles um euch zusammenzubrechen droht. Darum rufet Ihn zuvor schon an und bittet Ihn, daß Er eure Kraft vermehre, daß Er alle Schwäche von euch nehme, daß Er Sich eurer erbarme und euch nicht fallenlasse in den Versuchungen, die jedem Gläubigen von seiten der irdischen Welt drohen werden. Das innige Gebet zuvor findet Erhörung, sowie es nur dem geistigen Wohl gilt, und es brauchen die Menschen nicht zu fürchten, daß Gott Sich ihrer Sorgen und Nöte nicht annehme.... Er wird Sich zeigen denen, die Kraft benötigen, sowie sie zuvor schon in engster Verbindung standen mit Gott, denn deren Liebe lohnet Er.... Es sind Seine Kinder, die Er aus allen Gefahren behutsam herausführen wird. Und darum glaubet an Ihn, glaubet an Seine Macht und an Seine Liebe, die euch ununterbrochen betreut, und glaubet, daß Er alles so lenkt, daß es für euch gut ist, auch wenn ihr dies nicht gleich erkennet. So ihr euch lebendig die Liebe, Weisheit und Allmacht Gottes vorstellt, so wird ein tiefer innerer Friede einziehen in euer Herz, denn dann wisset ihr auch, daß nichts über euch kommen kann, es sei denn, es verhilft der Seele zur Reife. Und wie es auch kommt, es ist Gottes Wille, dem ihr euch unterordnen sollt, auf daß ihr nicht mehr widersetzlich Gott gegenübertretet, sondern in tiefer, wahrer Kindesliebe Ihn um Seinen Beistand bittet, den Er euch wahrlich nicht versagen wird....

Intimate connection with God necessary....

You all have to comply with the commandment of the hour, and this is: intimately unite with God, for only with Him will you be able to assert yourselves in the world. It is more urgent than ever that you seek Him, that you approach Him and appeal for His grace and blessing, for the adversity will be great and no one will be able to help you but the one Who rules over heaven and earth. And therefore you should unite yourselves with Him, and that with all eagerness, for it is not much longer that you will need extraordinary strength. And then you will no longer be able to muster the will to approach Him when everything around you threatens to collapse. Therefore call upon Him beforehand and ask Him to increase your strength, to take all weakness from you, to have mercy on you and not let you fall in the temptations which will threaten every believer on the part of the earthly world. The heartfelt prayer beforehand will be answered as long as it only applies to spiritual well-being, and people need not fear that God will not take care of their worries and hardships.... He will show Himself to those who need strength as soon as they have already been in closest contact with God, for He rewards their love.... They are His children whom He will gently lead out of all dangers. And therefore believe in Him, believe in His might and in His love which looks after you uninterruptedly, and believe that He directs everything such that it is good for you, even if you don't recognize this straight away. If you vividly imagine God's love, wisdom and omnipotence, a deep inner peace will enter your heart, for then you will also know that nothing can come over you unless it helps the soul to mature. And no matter how it comes about, it is God's will to which you should submit yourselves so that you will no longer oppose God but, in deep, true filial love, appeal to Him for His support, which He will truly not deny you....
