Gottvertrauen.... Verheißung: "Bittet, so werdet ihr empfangen...."

Der Mangel an Gottvertrauen wird ganz offensichtlich zutage treten, so sich die Menschen in großer irdischer Not befinden, weil ihnen der tiefe Glaube fehlt.... der Glaube an eine Macht, die jegliches Geschehen in der Welt ändern kann durch ihren Willen. Der gläubige Mensch gibt sich in vollem Vertrauen dieser Macht hin, denn er weiß, daß die Liebe und Allmacht Gottes ihm helfen will und helfen kann, und somit ist der vollgläubige Mensch dem ungläubigen gegenüber im Vorteil, denn ihm bleibt Angst und Sorge oft erspart, wohingegen der Ungläubige in ständiger Unruhe und Besorgnis lebt, weil er sich an niemanden wenden kann, der ihm diese abnimmt. Gottvertrauen setzt daher tiefen Glauben voraus, Gottvertrauen ist aber gleichzeitig bestimmend für die Tiefe, d.h. Innigkeit, des Gebetes. Denn wer voller Gottvertrauen ist, der wird in allen Nöten des Leibes und der Seele zu Gott kommen und Ihn bitten um Seinen Beistand.... er wird Ihn anrufen im Herzen, und also steigt das innige Gebet zu Gott empor. Und dieses erhöret der Vater im Himmel, weil Seine Liebe zu Seinen Kindern so groß ist, daß Er sie nicht in Leid und Sorge belassen will. Wo aber die volle Zuversicht mangelt, daß Gott helfen kann und helfen will, dort wird auch das Gebet nur zaghaft zu Gott emporsteigen, und entsprechend schwach wird auch die Hilfe sein. Das Durchringen zu starkem Glauben ist so unbedingt nötig, weil es erst das innige Gebet zu Gott zur Folge hat und dadurch die Verbindung mit Gott viel leichter hergestellt wird. Es fühlt der Mensch im starken Glauben sich Gott näher, und er vermag im Geist und in der Wahrheit zu beten, d.h., unbefangen mit Ihm zu reden, und desto eher werden seine Gebete erhört werden können, denn ein in tiefem Glauben und vollem Vertrauen zu Gott gesandtes Gebet muß unbedingt die Erfüllung nach sich ziehen, weil Gott Selbst es den Menschen verheißen hat, daß Er ihnen geben wird, was sie begehren.... "Bittet, so werdet ihr empfangen...." Und was Gott verheißen hat, das bleibt immer und ewig reine Wahrheit.... So Er also den Menschen die Zusicherung gegeben hat, ihnen zu helfen, können sie auch ungezweifelt glauben, daß Er es tut, und nun ihre Zuversicht stark werden lassen. Und von Stund an wird das Erdenleben auch leichter tragbar sein, denn wozu die eigene Kraft des Menschen nicht ausreicht, das wird er vermögen mit Unterstützung der Kraft Gottes, die der vollgläubige Mensch anfordern kann und anfordern wird, weil Gott Selbst den Menschen ans Herz gelegt hat, Ihn zu bitten, so sie Seine Hilfe benötigen. Es kann auch ein starker Glaube erbeten werden, und Gott wird dieses Gebet auch erhören, denn so der Mensch um geistiges Gut bittet, wird er niemals eine Fehlbitte tun....

Trust in God.... promise: "Ask and you shall receive...."

The lack of trust in God will become quite obvious when people find themselves in great earthly adversity because they lack profound faith.... faith in a power which can change every event in the world through its will. The believer surrenders to this power with complete trust because he knows that the love and omnipotence of God wants to help him and can help him, and thus the full believer has an advantage over the unbeliever because he is often spared anxiety and worry, whereas the unbeliever lives in constant anxiety and worry because he has no one to turn to who can relieve him of this. Trust in God therefore requires deep faith, but at the same time trust in God determines the depth, i.e. intimacy, of prayer. For he who is full of trust in God will come to God in all the needs of body and soul and ask Him for His help.... He will call upon Him in his heart, and thus the fervent prayer rises up to God. And the father in heaven hears this because His love for His children is so great that He does not want to leave them in suffering and sorrow. But where there is a lack of full confidence that God can and wants to help, prayer will only timidly rise up to God and the help will be correspondingly weak. It is therefore absolutely necessary to penetrate to a strong faith, because it only results in heartfelt prayer to God and thereby the connection with God is established much more easily. In strong faith the human being feels closer to God and he is able to pray in spirit and in truth, i.e. to speak to Him unbiasedly, and the sooner his prayers will be able to be answered, for a prayer sent to God in profound faith and full trust must necessarily result in fulfilment, because God Himself has promised people that He will give them what they desire.... "Ask and you shall receive...." And what God has promised will always and forever remain pure truth.... So if He has given people the assurance that He will help them, they can also believe without doubt that He will do so and now let their confidence grow strong. And from that hour on earthly life will also be easier to bear, for what the human being's own strength is not sufficient for he will be able to do with the support of God's strength, which the fully believing human being can and will request, because God Himself has placed it in people's hearts to ask Him if they need His help. Strong faith can also be requested and God will also answer this prayer, for if a person asks for spiritual possessions he will never make a wrong request....
