Gott Selbst erschüttert das Denken der Menschen, die Ihn anstreben und doch Sein Wort ablehnen....

Es ist ein unverkennbarer Gott-gegnerischer Einfluß, wenn eine so offensichtliche Gnadengabe Gottes nicht als das anerkannt wird, was sie ist.... als Wirken Gott-verbundener Kräfte, als eine Willensäußerung Gottes.... Es ist dies um so bedauerlicher, weil die geistige Not der Zeit Veranlassung ist zu dem außergewöhnlichen Wirken Gottes, also darin das Zuleiten der göttlichen Gnadengabe zur Erde begründet ist, aber die Menschheit die Notwendigkeit dessen nicht erkennt, folglich also sich nicht darüber im klaren ist, in welcher Notlage sie sich befindet, und da sie die Not nicht erkennt, auch nichts tut, dieser Not zu entrinnen. Den Grund des geistigen Tiefstandes sucht sie nicht dort, wo er zu finden ist.... Und daher wird sie auch nicht den Hebel dort ansetzen, wo es nötig wäre.... Und dies ist das Wirken des Widersachers, in der Welt alles als Wahrheit zu verbreiten, was keinen Anspruch darauf hat.... Es ist ferner sein Wirken, das Urteilsvermögen zu schwächen und die klare Erkenntnis zu trüben. Und ob nun auch göttliche Gabe geboten wird, sie wird nicht als solche erkannt, auch wo der Wille, Ihm zu dienen, vorhanden ist.... Es streben die Menschen Gott entgegen, aber Sein Wort erkennen sie nicht. Und ihnen naht Sich daher Gott Selbst, und das in einer Weise, die ihnen blitzschnell die Erkenntnis vermittelt. Denn Er überläßt jene nicht Seinem Gegner, sondern Er nimmt den Kampf mit ihm auf. Er läßt ihnen Kunde zugehen von anderer Seite, die den Menschen glaubwürdiger erscheint, die aber nun angenommen wird, denn es ist das göttliche Wirken nun unverkennbar. Und nun wird die Übereinstimmung dessen, was geboten wurde durch Gottes große Liebe, auch die Menschen überzeugen, denen das Wirken Gottes im Menschen bisher fremd war. Und dies behält Sich Gott noch vor.... Aber Er kommt, wenn es geboten ist, daß Er Sich sichtlich äußert.... Er kommt, wenn auch jene Menschen in Gefahr sind, irrezugehen und von der Wahrheit abzuweichen.... Und dieses Sein Kommen steht kurz bevor, und es wird jene Menschen so erschüttern, daß es plötzlich in ihnen hell wird und sie nun erkennen, sowohl die Notwendigkeit des Wirkens Gottes als auch das Wirken des Widersachers.... Sie werden wissend und übersehen auch die geistige Notlage und die unendliche Liebe Gottes, die denen Hilfe bringt, die zu Ihm wollen. Denn Er braucht Streiter und sucht diese in den Reihen derer, die Ihm willig ihre Dienste anbieten.... Doch so sie Ihm dienen wollen, müssen sie sich vorerst in der Wahrheit befinden. Sie können nicht die Aufgabe erfüllen, Wahrheit zu verbreiten, wenn sie selbst im Irrtum stehen und diesen nicht erkennen. Also muß erst der Widersacher enthüllt und entlarvt werden, es muß der Mensch sehen, welche Verheerungen er anrichtet, auf daß er sich von selbst von ihm abwendet und nun mit Freuden die göttliche Gnadengabe annimmt, weil sie ihm nun faßbar ist und daher seinen Ablehnungswillen nicht mehr hervorruft, sondern er sich nun dazu bekennt und dafür eintritt mit vollster Überzeugung.... weil sein Herz alles bejahen kann, was Gott ihm aus der Höhe bietet....

God Himself shakes the thinking of people who strive for Him and yet reject His word....

It is an unmistakable God-opposing influence if such an obvious gift of God's grace is not recognized for what it is.... as the work of God-connected forces, as an expression of God's will.... This is all the more regrettable because the spiritual adversity of the time is the reason for God's extraordinary activity, thus the reason for the supply of the divine gift of grace to earth, but humanity does not recognize the necessity of it, consequently it is not aware of the adversity it is in and, since it does not recognize the adversity, it does nothing to escape it. It does not look for the reason for its spiritual depression where it can be found.... And therefore it will not apply the lever where it is needed.... And this is the adversary's activity of spreading everything in the world as truth that has no claim to it.... It is also his work to weaken judgement and cloud clear insight. And even if divine gifts are offered, they are not recognized as such, even where the will to serve Him is present.... People strive towards God but do not recognize His word. And therefore God Himself approaches them in a way which imparts realization to them in a flash. For He does not leave them to His adversary but takes up the battle with him. He sends them news from another side which appears more credible to people but which is now accepted because the divine working is now unmistakable. And now the correspondence of what was offered through God's great love will also convince people who were previously unaware of God's working in the human being. And God still reserves this for Himself.... But He will come when it is commanded that He visibly expresses Himself.... He will come when even those people are in danger of going astray and deviating from the truth.... And this coming of His is imminent, and it will shake those people to such an extent that they will suddenly become enlightened and recognize both the necessity of God's activity as well as the adversary's activity.... They will become aware and also overlook the spiritual need and the infinite love of God, which brings help to those who want to come to Him. For He needs fighters and looks for them in the ranks of those who willingly offer their services to Him.... But if they want to serve Him, they must first be in the truth. They cannot fulfil the task of spreading the truth if they themselves are in error and do not recognize it. Thus the adversary must first be revealed and unmasked, the human being must see what havoc he is causing so that he will turn away from him of his own accord and now gladly accept the divine gift of grace because it is now comprehensible to him and therefore no longer arouses his will to reject it, but he now professes it and stands up for it with complete conviction.... because his heart can affirm everything God offers him from above....
