Geistige Arbeit.... Geistiger Hunger.... Göttliche Gnade....

Ein helles Licht göttlicher Liebe ist allen denen beschieden, die vermöge ihres tiefen Glaubens zum Heiland sich in einen geistigen Zustand versetzen, der sie weit über die Erde erhebt und der sie völlig unfähig macht, der Erde Güter anzustreben. Denn so ein Kind Gottes, in den Bannkreis Seiner Liebe gezogen, alles Irdische willig aufgibt, wird es immer mehr geläutert im Geist.... es nützet jede Stunde zu geistiger Arbeit und weiht dem Herrn der Schöpfung sein ganzes Leben. Alle Momente geistigen Schaffens sind segensreich auf Erden, es verharrt der Mensch gleichsam in einer Tätigkeit, die ihn Stufe für Stufe höher führt.... ein lichtvoller Augenblick genügt, um in der Seele dieses Gotteskindes eine Erkenntnis zu erwecken, die für Zeit und Ewigkeit entscheidend ist. In solchen gesegneten Momenten ist der Herr Selbst, um Aufnahme zu finden, im Herzen, und daher wird auch blitzschnell der Geist erhellt. Der Herr und Heiland läßt das Erdenkind einen Blick tun in Sein Reich.... oft zwar nicht erkannt, doch bleibt dieses Zeichen göttlicher Liebe nicht ohne Wirkung.... wieder andere suchen Gott und wenden sich fragend und bittend in das All.... auch von dort wird ihnen Erleuchtung werden.... denn der Heiland sucht unermüdlich Seine Schäflein, auf daß sie zu Seiner Herde zurückkehren, die sich verirrt haben. Der wahre Zweck Seiner unendlichen Fürsorge ist ja immer nur, euch Kinder wieder dem Vater zuzuführen.... Doch mitunter läßt es der Wille des Herrn auch zu, daß Seine Kinder darben müssen, bis daß sie ein Hunger erfaßt nach geistiger Stärkung.... Es ist dies dann ein Zeichen von göttlicher Fürsorge.... denn was euch geboten wird, so euch nicht hungert, das weiset ihr leichtlich ab.... Doch was ihr begehret im Herzen, das werdet ihr auch freudig annehmen, und dann erst erfüllet es den rechten Zweck. Denn so euch die göttliche Gnade geboten wird und ihr könnet ihren Wert nicht ermessen, so werdet ihr sie auch nicht erkennen als das, was sie euch sein soll.... Erst wenn ihr darbet und eure Seele sich schier verlassen vorkommt, fasset ihr den großen Wert der Gnade Gottes.... ihr bittet darum und seid dankbar, wenn ihr erhöret werdet.... und dann erst läßt der Herr Seinem Gnadenbeweis immer wiederkehrende Zeichen Seiner Vaterliebe folgen, bis sie euch erfüllet und ihr aus tiefstem Herzen nur nach Ihm verlanget. Dann seid ihr gewonnen für das ewige Leben.... dann könnt ihr wohl bedrängt werden von seiten des Feindes eurer Seele, ihr werdet aber nimmermehr diesem zum Opfer fallen, sondern des Herrn Liebe wachet über euch, Er hütet Seine Schäflein, daß Ihm keines verlorengehe....

Spiritual work.... Spiritual hunger.... Divine Grace....

A bright light of divine love is granted to all those who by virtue of their deep faith in the Savior, put themselves into a spiritual state which lifts them far above earth and which makes them completely unable to strive for the goods of the earth. Because such a child of God, drawn into the spell of his love, willingly giving up everything earthly, is purified more and more in the spirit.... It uses every hour for spiritual work and consecrates it's whole life to the Lord of creation. All moments of spiritual creation are blessed on earth, man persist as it were, in activity that leads him higher step by step.... one luminous moment is enough to awaken in the soul of this child of God to a knowledge that is decisive for time and eternity.

In such blessed moments the Lord Himself is in the heart to find admission, and therefore the spirit is also illuminated in a flash. The Lord and Savior lets the earthly child take a look into His kingdom.... often not recognized, but this sign of divine love does not remain without effect.... again others seek God and turn questioningly and pleadingly into the universe.... also from there will come enlightenment for them.... because the Savior tirelessly seeks His little sheep, so that they return to His flock which have gone astray. The true purpose of His unending care is always only to bring you children back to the Father....

But sometimes the will of the Lord also allows that His children have to live in want until a hunger for the sake of spiritual strengthening.... This is then a sign of divine care.... for if you do not hunger for what is offered to you, you easily reject it.... But what you desire in the heart you will also joyfully accept, and only then it fulfills the true purpose. For if divine grace is offered to you and you cannot measure it's value, you will not know what it means to you....

Only when you are in need and your soul feels almost forsaken, do you understand the great value of the grace of God.... you ask for it and are thankful when you are heard.... and only then does the Lord let recurring signs of His Fatherly love follow His proof of grace until it fulfills you and you long for Him from the bottom of your heart. Then you are won for eternal life.... then you can well be harassed by the enemy of your soul, but you will never again fall a victim to him, but the love of the Lord watches over you, He guards His little sheep that none will be lost to Him....
